After going here once a week since they opened, I figured I should write a review. Yes, this is not a typical “sushi” place,... but their poke bowls are fantastic, generous, and the rolls are tasty too. LOVE the crispy salmon skin optional topping for thepoke bowls. Also I don’t know how they train their staff, but everyone who works there is incredibly pleasant, professional(masked), and clearly trying to work as quickly/efficiently. Ive been waiting for this place to open for months, of course as soon as I heard it was finally open I stopped by. Portions are... large, decent prices, and food was good! This place is awesome! So glad they moved in. The first time my mom and I came in they had a giant fillet of fresh salmon they... were carving up behind the bar. Always a good sign! So far I’ve only had the poke bowls but I highly recommend them. Portionsare generous. My mom got the California roll the first time we came in and she liked it, but she said she would have appreciatedmore crab. They also have a cute little outdoor seating area with both sun and shade. Wonderfully nice people and very family friendly. I am always rooting for small businesses, especially in the food business, but... I’m concerned for these guys! The sushi was not good and there were tiny portions of fish in the rolls. Also, there are noplates or nice silverware here - I’m not sure if they don’t have a dishwasher, but having the ginger and wasabi in catchupstyle packets is a lame experience. Also, all of the food comes to you in their dining environment in to-go containers. Also,the sushi is on the more expensive side. I hope these guys make a few changes so they can make it. Read more

Great new poke place! I have been so excited for this place to open since it is only a half mile from the Lewis & Clark law... campus, making it the perfect lunch stop or post work/class meal! It’s location is right at the light on Terwilliger/TaylorsFerry, so it’s very easy to access. Came back for my second time today (both times take out) and it is delicious. Definitelyrecommend the Cali Tuna, and might I add that their mango topping is fresh tastey mango, which is hard to get sometimes even atthe grocery store. They have some indoor seating and a beautiful outdoor patio space that I’ll definitely be returning toduring finals season (not sure if they provide Wi-Fi, though). This place is great and I’m excited about its new opening —definitely worth the try, and while the poke bowls are your standard $15-17, they are a large portion so you get your money’sworth, they don’t skimp on the toppings. I had some leftovers that made a great snack a few hours later. The staff is so sweetand I’m happy to support this new store. Read more

We went on their second day of opening and they're still figuring out efficiencies but their food is awesome! Definitely my new... Poke spot, hope it will end up being my new sushi spot too!
