Reviews for The Whole Bowl in Portland, OR
It is a street cart, not a brick and mortar establishment but don?t let that deter you. Usually a decent line but the bowls are... excellent. It is a one item (customizable) menu though so keep that in mind. Brown rice, black and red beans, avocado, cilantro, black olives, Tillamook cheddar, sour cream, salsa and Tali Sauce. They also have a variety of hot sauces availableto top off your bowl. Read more
They should change the name of this specific location to Half Bowl. I've pretty much gone here multiple times a week for the... last two years, and the amount of food they put into these bowls (which are like, $6, mind you) have decreased dramatically. Iused to have to scrape off the sour cream and cilantro from the lid onto my bowl after opening and now there's like a one inchgap when closing the lid. For a business that makes its earnings selling beans and rice with a 500% markup cost, I would hopethat they embrace their company name so that it reflects in their product. Read more
Absolutely love the whole bowl and the people who run it! Nice healthy food and even when there's the longest line you've ever... seen just about every day, they go by so fast. Well worth any wait though. Read more
Perfect little cart for vegetarian or vegan lunch, and it's cheap! The service is always friendly and fast. This is definitely a... go-to for lunch in the area. It gets a little busy during peak lunch hours, but as long as you don't mind a small wait(seriously, like ten minutes, maybe) give it a go! Read more
Absolutely tasty bowls. Definitely worth a try!
YUM! Delicious bowls, reasonable prices. Their sauce is particularly yummy and they don't skimp on it. Sometimes the bowls feel... a bit too rice heavy (not enough toppings!) but for $6.50 I can't complain. Great choice for a quick, filling meal! Read more
Nice!
Please bring back Whole Bowl to the Glisan Street location! We miss you!
