Classic lack-of-management Portland experience. Says they?re open until 11, but they were not. Clearly closed before 8:30 even... though there were folks (friends of the bartenders, it looked Ike) hanging around the bar. This is really common in Portland, unfortunately. The cherry on top is being looked and talked to like we?re the weird ones. As a business, It?s not hard to updatehours online so that people don?t show up expecting to be able to dine. Careless and unprofessional, if you ask me. Read more

This place is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend the beet salad with a chicken skewer side. It was one of the best... I've had. It was plentiful with greens and other add ons. The chicken was perfectly grilled, tender and juicy. Try the Picnic inthe Park cocktail. It's refreshing and delicious as well as very visually appealing. My friends said their shrimp skewers werefantastic. The presentation in a mini cast iron skillet was great. They are pet friendly with a nice outdoor area to sit. Allstaff were attentive and friendly. Read more

Awesomely unassuming luxurious outdoor seating. Your buns will be kept nice n toasty with their heated seats. They go the extra... mile with a fire at the center of the table. Delicious spicy burger and picked onions. Can't wait to go back! Read more

Had a great time at the Ranger Station! Came here for some beers and ended up having a few cocktails because Brandon, Bartender,... was mixing with such passion that I couldn?t pass up his take on a old fashion. They also had live music, the trio certainlyadded so much joy to the ambiance. Highly recommend stopping by. Read more

The campy theme is mildly amusing, but the primary thing I noticed about the atmosphere was no A/C, which in this heat was an... obvious disappointment. Bartender was short tempered and unhelpful. Pointed to a water station with a degree of contempt thatseemed out of keeping with the request. The menu felt unnecessarily pretentious. Who makes a Cesar salad with kale? I opted forfries as the safest bet, but it turned out not to be. This food would have to aspire to mediocrity. The fries were bland andneeded salt. They were served with what was purported to be ketchup, but had the texture of marinara. The "carne asada" tacospecial came out after a much longer wait than the preparation suggested, and was delivered - not with an apology - but with asnotty " Well, it's a one man show back there, so." From the waitstaff. Once served the contents of the taco were smothered inwhat seemed to be barbecue sauce. Not what the name implied. They were hosting a "Geeks Who Drink" trivia night and seemedoverwhelmed by the influx of patrons. It's not clear whether this is a recurring event, but if so, better preparation in termsof staffing would seem warranted. Read more

Awesome bartender. Friendly and knows how to take care of folks. The space is small, but don't let that deter you from... checking it out. A surprisingly impressive menu. Trivia on Wednesdays. Read more
