I started eating at this food cart while I was a student at PSU and never once have had a bad experience. The food was and still... is consistently great. My husband and I had The Local Grind cater our wedding last month and it was an incredible experiencefrom start to finish! Robert and Larry were both wonderful to work with and made things run smooth through the planning processand the event. We love your guys' food and will absolutely continue eating at the food cart. Great chicken options and their sauces are wonderful. It’s really nice being able to add all the sauce you want. If you like... macaroni salads, I would definitely recommend ordering a side of it with your meal. The portions are reasonable but the foodseems a bit overpriced considering it’s a relatively casual food cart and not a sit-down restaurant. They're set up in the park with some really good Hawaiian BBQ. I really loved the bomb sauce that they make.
Really good! My favorite is the Kalua Pork. The mac salad is good, too. I like the creamy sriracha sauce.
Owner is a good dude. Without a doubt some of the best Hawaiian food in the PNW. Killer Mac salad.
