Very good and big portions

My first surprise was the sheer number of Thai restaurants in Portland. My second surprise was the quality of food at Thai... Bungalow PDX. I had the Tom Yum Gai (Hot and Sour Chicken Soup) first, and I thought it was so good that I ordered the KuaitiaoRuea (Boat Noodles), even though my flight was scheduled to leave in 2 hours. Eating was stressful, but was not disappointed;the broth in both was rich and flavorful and the noodles weren't overly done, as in a lot of other places. My only regret wasthat I ran out of time to photograph what I ordered, but luckily I passed airport security with minutes to spare. Read more
