Glad to see this place still here post pandemic. I have not been to Portland since before COVID and Swine was always high on my... list of places to go. I love that the atmosphere is casual but yet the food has an upscale taste without upscale prices. I lovethe deviled eggs and the fried chicken sliders and wash it all down with the cocktail appropriately named the Taylor Street. Theservice is always friendly and prompt. I hope they will bring back the chicken pot pie as the weather gets colder! Read more

Favorite bar to end the night during my stay in Portland. Waitress was very nice and attentive. The barman really can help... select other very good whiskeys to widen your experience and knowledge. Went back here like 6 times during Read more

They have a big selection of what they advertise, but they do NOT make the best foods, nor did they care about us at all. We... ordered Tavern Chips-something that by the description seemed it would be fancy nachos. We got a piece of pork plopped in themiddle of some cheese, a little bit of tomato sauce (salsa?) and a little dish of sour cream (?) with a little basket of crunchychips. Not home made, not heated, not fancy. A bulk generic chip. It was so-so.\nThe service was horrible. There were fourpeople standing around and behind the bar and they\'d look around and keep chatting. We notice them helping other tables and wehad to catch them as they walked by us if we wanted anything. Like the correct drink, the bill... They did not care about us ATALL. We like to spend our money in places where it\'s appreciated. It won\'t be at this establishment, that\'s for sure. Thisplace needs to get over itself in my opinion. Read more

We booked this hotel largely because of the mention of their Whiskey Bar in the reviews. We had cocktails this evening after a... 4 hour tour of the waterfalls. The wait staff were knowledgeable, cordial and efficient. We enjoyed our cocktails and theambience of the place. We\'re looking forward to doing it all over again tomorrow evening.\n\nTaylor was our waitress our firsttwo evenings at the hotel. My husband enjoys bourbon. I am not the biggest fan of brown booze, so I told Taylor whatcombination I liked and she recommended a drink she thought I would like. It was the Strawberry Fields, which hit the spot. The following evening, she greeted us and asked if we wanted our \"usual.\" I was impressed that she remembered. On our thirdevening, Taylor had a day off, but Emily was there and she took equally good care of us. They were both fantastic. Read more

TL:DR - A surprisingly decent joint for being connected to a hotel if only slightly missing perfect marks.\n\nA dimly lit and... trendy joint which leans a little too hard into what could be described as a \"lumber-sexual\" vibe. Seating is mostly too shortor tall with \"just right\" being in short supply for people within average height tolerance. A good selection of beverages, areasonable selection of food, and both are either on or slightly over the mark for pricing. The bathroom situation is a bitawkward so those with sensitive stomachs should possibly figure out a path early. Read more

Excellent service, delicious food, great music!\n\nThe bacon was crispy, the fruit was fresh af, the potatoes had the perfect... amount of crunch & the coffee was a headache-curing level of goodness I haven\'t had in a while. I appreciate the ambiencethey\'ve created here, everything feels intentionally comforting. Read more
