Their cupcakes are AMAZING. I love the Naito one when I need a heavy chocolate fix. Their sandwiches and salads are also tasty.... The salad with those hazelnuts ???? is worth a try. I've heard great things about their heavenly bowls. The lady that worksthere most days is so sweet and friendly too. Sugar Street is the perfect amount of sweet. Read more
Delicious cupcakes and large portions with the bowls! Absolutely love. They have a very nice staff and have always been helpful... with suggestions. This is a smaller shop but they have vegan options. The orange creme cupcake is my personal favorite alongwith a savory bowl with jalapeno sauce. I recommend this shop to all my family and friends is a fav that ill be coming back toagain. Read more
I accidentally walked in Sugar Street's door when heading to Bamboo to pickup an order. What a great mistake! The shop is tidy... and fresh and the owner is genuinely warm and friendly. Dog-friendly, natch. And the baked goods! Wow! I couldn't help but buy abuttercream-frosted caramel carrot cupcake (even though i was ostensibly picking up dinner), and it was incredible. Normallybuttercream is cloying but this was perfectly balanced with the carrot cake in sweetness and the texture was buttery and smoothto compliment the moist cupcake. I also sampled a strawberry shortbread cookie that worked a similar magic with texture, flavor,and sweetness, while avoiding the trap of being crumbly. I did not investigate their bowls, sammies, or paninis, but the bakedtreats are priced fairly. Portion sizes are a touch small -- this place is about quality over quantity and I'm completely finewith that. Read more
Vegan bowls and vegan gluten free chocolate cupcakes? Oh yes please! Excellent sandwiches and creative delicious cupcakes. And... cookies! Yum!! But the best part is the excellent vibe from the folks behind the counter. It's nice when the food is good, andparticularly nice when you feel good about who you're buying it from. Recommended!
