Spitz has to be one of the best casual Mediterranean food places in the city and a nice hidden gem. I've tried many... Mediterranean restaurants in and around Portland but the wraps and salads here always bring me back. Their flavors are so boldand nicely packed in their dishes that it's always a blast! The place is also charming and gets quite busy on the weekends.Would say it's great for group hangouts as well as date nights. Love the attitude and chill vibe from the folks behind thecounter since even though it is partly a self service place, they are always running around with delivery orders, bringing foodup to tables and manage to get a good conversation while you order at the counter and with the people sitting at the Bar. Don'tforget to grab some of the delicious spicy Green and Red sauces from the table across the counter - they just elevate the foodto even bolder flavors in your mouth. Portion sizes are also great and we usually end up eating only half of our wraps sincethere's a lot of good things to try! Highly recommend this place. Read more

Loved this place. Food tasted great and I loved the twist on the Mediterranean food. I asked for my falafel wrap with no onion... but it had onion, however they were so quick to change it for me. Service was awesome and fast and great staff. Definitely willbe back. Read more

Great service, delicious food. Had a Greek salad and pita with hummus, both delicious, I wish the salad came in a bigger bowl so... I could mix the dressing without making a mess. Plastic condiment containers feel a little wasteful and off brand for a coolspot like this. Bonus points for being dog friendly. Overall I love the vibe here, I will definitely stop by again. Solid spot for a Mediterranean lunch. I tried one of their wraps and liked it. I heard a lot of great things about Spitz and... can't say I was fully blown away, but there's so much on the menu that I'm ready to give it another try and order somethingnew. No complaints overall at all, and if anything, they also have a solid portion sizes which I appreciate. Bonus was thattheir website was useful when trying to see what I was interested in ordering. Accessibility: no steps to enter, I think it?s wheelchair friendly Took forever to get my medi bowl. They put it in as a wrap... instead of a bowl so that increased the amount of time I had to wait to get my food. When I did get my bowl, the only thingthat was flavorful was the chicken shawarma. I wish they had seasoned the other bowl items more. For example, the hummus couldhave used more lemon, salt, and garlic flavor. My friend got the salad and she also said it lacked flavor. Had been wanting to try this place for quite some time since they just opened within the past year or so. Might've found a new... favorite spot! Was very impressed. We did a order for take out and are already planning when we can go back and dinein. They've got a great outdoor patio with heat lamps. Their dining and bar area is super cool. Didn't get drinks this goaround, but there cocktails look really good. The menu has a bit of everything on it for you and leaves you wanting one ofeverything ;) We decided on doquitos to start. Such a bold flavorful dish! Great sauce and fresh ingredients that top thedoquitos. For entrées we had the Street Car Doner and the Berliner Bowl. Each was jam packed with various flavors and kept youcoming back for more. Portions were great! Ended our Spitz journey with baklava - yum. We will certainly be going back to trymore!
