Where else can you get a steak dinner, topped with Bleu cheese, sauteed onions and shrooms with a side of salad for under $10... ?!?! ...and the steak was good, cooked med rare per my test! Yay! Bartender and cook very friendly. Read more

The Slim's Lounge is not a destination bar but one that I still would recommend. The atmosphere was typical of a dive bar with... low lighting red candles and a fully stocked bar. The pricing for the food and drinks was spot on, and seating was abundant. The4 star rating is for two different reasons, what makes Slim's a 4 star dive bar is that the food was exceptional for it beingdive bar, but didn't have a theme that engaged people. 3 pinball machines and a pool table sat empty, which could be used foreither a live band, karaoke, or a theme that would set it apart from the rest of the bars nearby.
