The reviews led us to this lovely Japanese restaurant for lunch (as their dinner reservations were booked thru the month of... February); but also seeing they served organic options! The meals (teriyaki chicken & miso tonkatsu) were beautifullypresented, along with the ambiance, music & restaurant design. However if you're in a rush or only have 1 hr; definitely tryfor dinner instead. The servers were sweet & attentive, but very slow. The 18% gratuity was a surprise considering theslowness in delivery however we will try dinner to compare soon. Read more

Had tonkatsu bento and currv udon for lunch. Those taste was good. They are really Japanese styled but using the well-selected... vegetables and meats. The restaurant interior is very stylish and Japanese modern. Their staffs are polite and friendly. Read more

Special five-course meals designed and served by the chef. The food was contemporary Japanese with a northwest twist that... implemented seasonal produce. Fresh and fun with experimental flavors. Read more

Omakase dinner for $50, totally worth it! And I got a few cooking tips from Naoko!

I cannot begin to express how delicious our meal was. Everything was made with finesse and we left the restaurant full and... extremely satisfied. The physical restaurant itself is well designed and clean. Price will be high of course, but it was wellworth the expensive bill. Highly recommend! (Didn't end up taking photos of all the courses because I got too excited andstarted eating) Read more

Excellent space design & classical menu selection with strong accent on local fare, seafood & meats represented equally well -... as it should be in Japanese epicurean practice. Remarkable sake selection, with origin indicated - Hyogo & Akita, my personal favorites, excellent opposites for various courses. Read more

My wife and I just finished dinner at Shizuku. What an experience! It was very Japanese, and very Oregon. We loved the... uniquely oat-crusted shumai. The fantastic house-made tofu had sesame sauce and chopped Oregon hazelnuts. The umami-rich beefwas served with kale. The crab cakes are local Dungeness. All of the dishes were excellent, and we're looking forward to goingagain to try more of the menu. Read more
