We came here at 3am and had food before dropping a friend off at the airport for an early flight. They were out of ribs that I... wanted to try which is understandable, so I settled for the Country Fried Steak with French Toast, Hash Browns and Sunny SideEggs on the side. The food was good. Unfortunately, I noticed there were bacon bits with my hash browns and I personally amallergic to pork so I am glad I caught that and did not consume it. We noticed how the service was slow and it's likely due toone person working in the kitchen. Overall, this was not the best Shari's experience but also not the worst. 4/5 stars. Read more
Look, it's a Shari's. You are going to get exactly what you expect from Shari's. Avoid the dinner menu, absolutely order the... pancakes and pie. Don't look too closely at the surrounding area, focus on the delicious bacon and well cooked eggs. A hugeshout out to our server. Name tag was Cassandra but receipt was Danielle so not 100% sure. But you were such a lovely human andmade the entire night a joy. Thank you for your attentiveness, kindness, humor, and just cheerful personality. Really used to love this place service at this location has been bad the last few times I've been there. Probably more of a... Portland thing sense our city has been on a downward spiral. Hashbrowns burnt to the point of about busting your teeth to eatchicken fried steak and eggs over cook, and weighted 2 hours for my wife and sons food. Read more
Management needs to give its staff the support it needs, rather than maximize their own bottom line by putting the burden of... running the restaurant on their beleaguered workers. Our server couldn't be nicer. Unfortunately the deep fryer was out ofservice and I wasn't able to get my first choice. The kitchen was training and the egg of my Benedict was very nicely poached.The sauce was off and the (whole wheat) muffin was not toasted. Clearly the kitchen has talent but I'd have to imagine theirdetails are suffering because of the aforementioned staffing issue. Things were made right. I was offered a complimentary sliceof pie but I left the building hungry. To the franchise owner, please hire more people. Please pay them fairly. Please treatthem with dignity. This Shari's Restaurant is a pretty good place to come and get some food and drinks. The restaurant is pretty much what you... would expect from any Shari's you would visit. This one in particular is fairly clean, and the waitresses there are friendly andseem to know what they're about. The food was pretty good and filling. So definitely visit this one next time you're in thearea, and save room for pie! Read more
I had the Breakfast Sampler which was better than Denny?s by a long shot. The prices ate high like most restaurants post Covid... but they served much larger portions. The coffee is excellent and the service was great. Read more
