Great Falafel! I've been searching for falafel like this on the west coast - haven't had it since working with Syrians on the... east coast. This food is the greatest Mediterranean food on the west coast. Read more

Lil' Shalom is a great place for comfort Mediterranean food. Their Pitas are fresh, the Hummus and Falafel are delicious but the... star of the show is their Moroccan Carrot! The place is very conveniently located and walking distance from other popularDowntown Portland spots like Pioneer Square and Powell's Books. This also means parking could be a little difficult in the area.I love their outdoor seating which is very peaceful. We usually get the Lil' Shalom plate which is a nice platter of theirsignature items and usually enough for 2 (with a small appetite). Highly recommend! Read more

We find this place on a trip to Portland. The restaurant is fairly small, but we were fortunate to have a day where we could... sit at their outdoor tables. We tried the Nazareth kebab and an order of the classic hummus. The kebab was fresh and veryflavorful. The hummus was smooth and tasty. I would recommend ordering a and pita if you get hummus. Yummy! Only ordered the chopped salad but no complaints. It was very fresh, tasty with the perfect amount of lemon and mint. The... fiancé ordered a pineapple mango hard seltzer and enjoyed it. Read more

I was excited to find an Israeli cafe. Came in here for a quick lunch and I don?t think the server/cashier wanted us to be... there. After a few snobby comments, we should have just left, but I did want to try the food. The other person on the bar wasvery friendly so I just talked to him from then on. The falafel plate was tasty. Fresh falafels, great hummus, labneh, arefreshing salad and a homemade pita on the side. We also got the chicken and rice okays and the chicken was a bit chewy andovercooked. It was better once we added sauces from the other plate. The place was really tiny, but there was a patio outside. Idon?t think I would come back based on the service though. Read more

First time here and was a little surprised by how small their indoor seating was. However, it didn't take long for me and my... friend to be seated. I got the Triple Lime cocktail with alchohol and the chicken kebab and they were just amazing. I wouldrecommend this place to friends! Read more

Good food, diverse menu. We had the lamb shawarma and chicken schnitzel, both well flavored but I enjoyed the lamb the most.... Also got the mejadara lentil and rice plate. They did ask to see vaccination status in order to eat inside which was nice, andsurprisingly all too rare around here. There were heated booths outside that started to fill soon after we got there, indoorseating is very limited. Read more

This place has amazing food. The are very creative in their dishes. We had the chicken schnitzel and the hummus with burnt tips... today. Both were very delicious. Easy going staff and ample seating outside. Read more
