One of Portland's best brick and mortar taquerias, holding it down with consistent quality and taste for YEARS. Don't sleep on... the handmade corn tortillas on weekends. Or the chicken mole tacos. Or the green enchiladas plate. Lots of vegetarian options(e.g torta w egg, veg breakfast burrito, cheese enchiladas) And their red sauce on EVERYTHING ???? Read more

Chilaquiles are amazing but sadly after a decade of ordering, they?ve lost a customer and multiple referrals. After ordering... multiple dinners today to take to a nearby park for a music event, I was filling a jug of water to take to the park (95 degreestoday) to have along with the food and a man behind the counter said it wasn?t allowed. First, he claimed it was for customersand after confirming I was a customer he said it was too much and that it was ?filtered? water? what other purpose is there fora water fill station? Read more
Classic and great food. Breakfast burritos are really good. And they have regional Oaxacan dishes like tlayudas. We love... stopping here on our way to Mt Hood or the gorge. Read more
First off, they have good tortillas, which is kind of rare to find. The carnitas to me are the star of the show, crisp and well... seasoned with the avocado-based salsa really setting everything off. The tripas are another fave. Agua de Tamarindo also hits anice balance of tart and not-too-sweet. Reliably delicious, and perfect for having a taco picnic. A Portland gem. Read more
Simply amazing!! The service was fantastic and extremely friendly, too. Out door seating was available, which was perfect since... it was a Georgia?s day! I ordered the torta de asada and beef taquitos and... well I almost ate the plates, too. Both were soamazingly tasty. The beans in the torta were perfection and the guacamole on the taquitos was extremely good. Reasonably pricedand the perfect meal after a10 hour plane ride! I highly recommend this place! Great taqueria, there are a couple in the area and SDT is always the busiest, for very good reason. I've tried a couple things... on the menu, but think they do breakfast burritos best, and the habenero salsa has a real wake-you-up kick to it. Read more
