The best food i have ever eaten in portland oregon. One of the best customer service. The chef/cook Aisha was soo friendly and... hospital. It is a family run business who go above and beyond to please their customers. Not to mention the food superb. Read more

The food was excellent. The restaurant is probably undergoing some covid renovation but that does not take away the fact that... the quality of shawarma was excellent. P.S. It reminded me of my native chicken roll. Read more

Totally root, not on time Hit this place, On phone call they she said 35 minutes wait, when I stopped by to pick up my order she... ask me to wait another few minutes. Secondly They are not fixed on price, one person asking 12$ for a meal and second personasking 13$ and fourth person is asking 14$. As you make more visits the price goes higher and higher. That?s bad, customer doesnot have time to wait when they call for orders, the order has to be ready on time. Third They are lying only one lady andkilling people time, not a good person. When I went to pick up my order, she was giving it to another person and asking me towait another 35 minutes. -0 star Read more

Let's start with what matters most: the food. Everything we had was great. We were greeted by a simple salad with an amazing... dressing. It was a spicy affair with an amazing citrus and cilantro flavor. We were supplied with a pitcher of a pineapplebeverage that had hints of coconut and lots of flavor. Then the main dish... I got lamb, amazing, falling-off-the-bone lamb witha wonderful rice and vegetable medley. They brought more of the same dressing as on the salads to mix with the rice. Do that.Don't think about it, just do it. My wife got a great chicken wrap that also had a flavorful and unique sauce. For dessert:bananas. Yeah, really. I only gave 4 stars because there are some basic things - like menus - that are missing. They've beenhere about a year, they should have some sort of menu by now. The lighting fixtures don't match locations with the tables somake sure to look in front of you when walking through. Everyone was super nice and really cared about our experience. Thanks somuch and we'll definitely be back! Read more

The food here is very delicious. Lots of flavor with mild heat. I love the rice. The Samosa is really yummy. The coffee is very... different. They put ginger in their coffee and it makes it spicy. It's all good. Service is a little slow, but the restaurant isstill new. East African cuisine. Read more
