He's a fine black man who is defined All odds and created a very successful business. This is the third time he's had. This is... damn good food. And it's about time the people in Portland stand behind this man so this doesn't happen again once he rebuilds Read more

So sorry to write a bad review, especially since we were so looking forward to eating our first meal here. For 46.00 we got two... skinny beef ribs and 4 pork ribs, which Costco would have done better. We also got4 8 oz sides. That's almost 10 dollars apiecefor the beef ribs and 5 for the pork. I contacted Reo's after we got home to ask what happened, but they never responded. Buyerbeware. Not fair . . . Read more

One star is for the mac n cheese, one star is for the cornbread, the third is for the seasoning on the fried chicken wings. The... wings themselves, however, tasted as if they'd been frozen. Very watery, chewy, and not very good texture to the meat.Thankfully the batter was perfectly seasoned so at least the crunchy skin was really good. The mac and cheese was bomb too, justnot very hot. My partner had the pork sandwich and really liked it, but had their own reasons for deduction of stars. We reallywanted to love this place and had been looking forward to eating there all day. Finding good BBQ here has been a challengebecause most places will have one really good dish and several mediocre. Higher quality chicken would have made this acompletely different review for me Read more

So great, in 2022, this is now our favorite BBQ place in the Portland/Vancouver area. If you love southern BBQ they do... Mississippi style so good, especially the breading for fried okra and catfish, it's perfect! We had fried catfish, collards, fried okra, hush puppies, and brisket mac & cheese. Only thing we would add is some honey butter for the hush puppies. We weredriving on Sandy to downtown smelled them, caught the name, and on our way back we stopped for lunch. Read more

Today my husband brought home an order of pork ribs, corn bread and coleslaw for each us for lunch. Delicious! and as we are... senior citizens, we ate 1/2 for lunch and just ate the other 1/2 for dinner. I like it better than famous Dave's. (don't tell mybrother) Read more

It had been ten years since our last visit to Reo?s Ribs, then located in Beaverton, but we recently ate the rib tip sandwich... and we already regret waiting so long to return. It may seem simple as far as ingredients go - just ribs on a burger bun - butthe meat is smoky, sweet, and fall-apart perfect. Flavor like that is only possible through a great recipe and extensive time inthe smoker. Note that the rib tips still had pieces of bone, so we pulled the meat off by hand and reassembled the sandwich. Each piece was covered in a housemade BBQ sauce that is perfectly sweet and tangy (and available for sale by the bottle). We hadthe sandwich with coleslaw and sweet tea, which paired perfectly with the ribs. A day later and we?re still thinking about thatrib tip sandwich. It might be time to go back. Read more
