My favorite Popeyes on MLK. Always fresh due to how busy. Lobby is OPEN for takeout as well as drive thru.

Called in order. They asked me to come back in 20 minutes. Then asked me to wait. 5 mins later they handed me my order. I asked... if it was the WHOLE ORDER, they said YES. Got home more than half was missing. Called said we could pick it up tomorrow ortonight. Went for the second time,2 1/2 miles one way and got nothing put "sorry" for Their MISTAKE !! The chicken and red beans and rice were delicious, as always. But, the star of the night was Mr. Joseph, whose skill and grace... at answering my question, despite my insistence that there was no "code" for the deal I wanted, was impressive, indeed. Hemaintained his professionalism. grace and ability to take drive through orders, while patiently responding to me....until Ifinally got it and the code presented itself! Without missing a beat, he said, now I got you...and kept serving the drivethrough traffic. Keep this bright and capable young man; he is an asset.
