Phuket Cafe 1st is the dining experience on the outdoor patio deck if you make a reservation before going. The patio which is a... better design than most others in Portland is part of the appeal of this little restaurant. The place has a positive party vibefor it’s atmosphere, the food is not like many of the other Thai places here. It’s a pretty small simple menu. The dish’sare mild to medium spice wise depending on your own personal level. It’s safely saying it’s in between mild & medium spicelevel. It’s a upper scale far as prices, so not a cheap place to go to for most average persons budgets. A good place to tryfor a special occasion like a date, business dinner, out with friends or take your partner out. Honestly it’s a four to fivestar rating for here, so the 4.6 star rating that is currently has on Google seems like a fair rating. It doesn’t have noodledishes so persons from across over seas most likely won’t like it as much as people that are native to this area in mypersonal opinion. It’s a good place for part of a fun time on the town in Portland. Read more

This was one of my favorite dinners in recent memory. All of the dishes were very flavorful and perfect portions. We ordered... from the snack, salads, and main sections of the menu with a few drinks. We also had the pleasure of sitting at the chef’stable and were able to see everyone work their magic. This was a great night out and I would highly recommend this for your nextdate night. Read more

One of the best Thai meals I’ve ever had. Super authentic. Very flavorful. They just thought they were too cool and... pretentious in a sense to provide chopsticks. Above it. They said, have u ever been to Thailand, locals don’t use chopsticksthey said. I send yup. Two times and spent a month one time. Truth is they don’t use chopsticks. Most locals also use theirhands, no chopsticks or any silverware. People in the US use silver wear and chopsticks to eat Thai food. No 5 stars from metill you provide chopsticks. Read more

The food was delicious and different then other Thai places I\'ve been to. The two dishes that were my favorites included the... tuna and carrots. The drinks were delicious. The place is small so it\'s best to make a reservation. There are places to sitoutside under cover as well. Read more

We came here for an early snack/dinner and enjoyed all the things we tried. The cocktails were amazing and well crafted. We... enjoyed \"I can\'t pay for this, all I have is money\" Cocktail. The food items that stood out was the pork belly bites, porkchops, potatoes, rib eye skewers, and the eggplant. I liked how the pork chop was cooked and that you had to mix the seasoningtogether and then eat it with the pork. The service was great with our server being attentive to our needs. Read more

This was one of the best restaurant meals I\'ve had in years. The food was beautiful and delicious, delivered in well-paced... waves that kept a great variety in front of us from start to finish. The staff had expert knowledge of the food and drinks, andthe table service was exceptionally good. Stand-out dinner items include the pandan roti, served with a light coconut cream, thecurry entree, the mussel pallea, and a soup which included smoked fish and other sea creatures. The pickled vegetablescomplemented all the savory foods. And the shaved ice dessert was superb, with surprisingly complex flavors and varied textures. We were encouraged to enjoy communal eating, though I don\'t think we\'d have been able to resist trying bites of everything. Weshared most items amongst 4 people and even with more than one cocktail per person the overall price was very reasonable. Anexcellent meal. Read more
