This restaurant makes my favorite pho in Portland. I tried 3 dishes recently and loved all of them: Banh Mi Bo Kho (beef stew... with baguette), Banh Xeo (sizzling crepe with shrimp and pork), and Banh Uot Nem Nuong (rice pancake with grilled porkpatty). I go 20 minutes out of my way to eat here and I?m never disappointed. Read more

Ph? Oregon is at 2518 NE 82nd Ave, Portland, OR 97220, USA. Come back after 6 years since first visit in 6/2016. Delicious.

We ate with a big party, but the service was still nice and the food service is fast! I love this place a lot, there?s a lot of... flavour in each bite, and it?s delicious! Lots of steak in the soup, generous portions, and the Salad Rolls are fresh! Not toocrowded, but the vibe is just right to have a conversation and a good bite! I recommend checking this place for a good time, plus the decor is super cute! Read more

We got shrimp salad rolls and chicken pho. Both were very delicious. The salad rolls tasted really fresh and the shrimp was... tender and tasty. The chicken pho is the best I've had in Portland so far, the broth was flavorful, the noodles were perfectlycooked and the chicken was delicious. This place definitely met the hype. Read more

Let me start out with the waiter. He must be the owners son because if he worked for me I'd smack his knuckles like uncle Nigel... smacking the subscribe button. He had a total attitude. Swaggered around like a big lord on a small mountain. Was not engagingor pleasant, every movement he made dripped with haughtiness. He did his job, but there was absolutely nothing friendly orwelcoming about him. And now on to the actual meat of the review. The Beef broth noodle dish I got was wonderful. The meat wasdeeply flavored and fall apart tender. One of the best stew broths I've had in ages. The noodles were easily separated in thebowl. The Spring Rolls and the sauce were great, tight and well wrapped as a caterpillar in a cocoon. The veggie dish was notonly plentiful, but colorful and the condiment tray was well stocked. The decor was upscale Asian eighties, which is a perfectalternative for the Inner Portland upscale yuppie look. It looks, exactly like what it is. A place that not only caters tobumbling newcomers like myself, but a strong contingent of the Jade District. The menu reflects this historical demographic witha long and varied menu, much of which is, foreign to me. Coming here and slowly working through the menu would a daunting butdelightful process. The food is worth the punk attitude of the waiter, who really needs to remember that people there areeither paying the bills or working to get the bills paid. He is almost a caricature of the young, can't be bothered, too goodfor this job, son of an owner, archetype. I loved the fish by the way although the rock fountain out front seems to be therepository for used face masks. Read more

EDIT 11/15/2021 - dropping from 5 stars to 2 stars. They are price gouging now. It used to be under $10 for a bowl of Pho Dac... Biet -- it is now $16. A single order of egg rolls is now $8.50 for just 3. You can get 4 egg rolls for $6.00 at Pho Dalat. Alsoa "large" Pho Dac Biet at Pho Dalat is only $11.49, but here at Pho Oregon they're gouging at $16.00 -- capitalism takes me toPho Dalat, sorry Pho Oregon. You're not THAT good. ORIGINAL REVIEW 06/2021 - Plenty of parking in back, next to a french Vietbakery shop, customer service is rude so you know the food is good. Great value for food, see attached pics. The pho dac biet isLITERALLY over three pounds of food and that was to go! Run down part of town so you know the food is really good. No WiFi,because staff is ensuring your food tastes good. No time for friendly chat. Bonus points when they slide the food dismissivelyacross the table (I didn't dine in but observed other tables while waiting for my food to go order). They served Ngo Gai orsawtooth herb with the pho order, so bonus points for that. Also the soup temp'd at 163 F and that was after 20 minutes ofdriving from restaurant to home in one of those "hot cold bags". I didn't even have to reheat the soup like I do sometimes fromother pho places even ones closer to home! Would return. Only criticism is that the front door doesn't squeak when you open /close it. Don't get WD-40, just keep focusing on the food ???? Read more
