I am providing an h o n e s t review that is neither accommodating nor punative and this one in particular is challenging... because the staff were friendly and attentive and because we were the only people eating in on a Friday night ... they have beenthere for years but must be holding on by a thread. This was our third time eating here over the past 10 years .. about everythree years we break down and give it another chance ... and everytime it is very disappointing ... 12 meals and none have beengood Thai good not even good white-people Thai food. This time will be the last time. We spent $60 for four entries getting asoup that was flavorless and lacking, pad Thai with an extra lemon grass chicken topping that was nothing more than a chickencutlet over grey noodles. Yakasoba noodles with mushy freezer burned squid that was inedible and pumpkin curry that was just notthere ... all the portions small, all the flavors muted, medium spice was like no spice and mild spice was not even Thai... Icannot say anything more than it was below average and not worthy of trying. The food wasn't even good food. I will note wewent there again, willing to give it a third chance, driven by several glowing reviews - I don't know what to tell you otherthan those reviewers don't know Thai from a hole in the ground. Between here and the Thai place across the street, Thai Roses, I would give the edge to Pepper Tree. The price point is better,... and if your go to is Pad Thai, I preferred Pepper Tree's. It's not my favorite in the greater area but the better of the two forpad thai. Read more
