I've been going to Pastini at this specific location for years but lately, I feel like the customer service has declined so much... I need to find a new pasta place. Today I visited for a go to order so I could have chicken alfredo for lunch, and instead ofthe ciabatta bread it comes with I ordered a side of garlic bread. When I got there my order wasn't ready so I sat in thelounge. My server wasn't exactly polite but she wasn't exactly rude, so I ignored it. I waited about five minutes (over thetime that was quoted to me), and then she asked if I needed plasticware and I responded with "please" as it was a to go order, but I understand they must be required to ask. She folded my bag and shoved it at me.. I looked inside and noticed the garlicbread I paid for wasn't in the bag. I notified her, and she walked back to the kitchen without so much as an apology, afteranother 4 minutes or so she came back and didn't apologize for the wait, or for their error. I let her know it would have beenupsetting to me if I had gotten back to my office and found the garlic bread I paid for wasn't included with my lunch order, andshe looked at me rolled her eyes and stated that the cook gave her the ticket, and she assumed everything was there. Needlessto say, I'm disappointed, and will spend my money elsewhere moving forward. Read more

A friend recommended that we meet at this establishment for lunch and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I've seen it in... different locations around Portland but I've never tried it with so many wonderful food options out there. Apparently it'slocally owned and operated. As we entered we were met by a host it was quite friendly and knowledgeable. The menu offered quitean eclectic array of Italian inspired food, so we made our selections. Our drinks arrived quickly and soon after our food came.I was impressed with how fresh everything looked and tasted, it was like having comfort food prepared by your mother. Theservice was wonderful and any and all questions that we had were answered with a smile. When I inquired about desserts it wasinformed that they were all made on the premises instead of being outsource like a lot of chain restaurants will do, it was sotasty and delicious. The environment was very pleasant and clean. I will definitely be back in the future. Read more

One of the best Italian restaurants in the NE Portland Area. I ordered PARMESAN BREAD and TORTELLINI GORGONZOLA. Both of the... dishes were good but I think the bread could have been Crunchier. Giving 4 stars! Read more

Food came out in less than 10 minutes, which is honestly probably the biggest red flag. It tastes bland, so my assumption is... that they have most of it premade all day and just keep it heated. Not the experience I was hoping for or expecting. Decentfood, not worth it . Poor waitress seemed to be the only one on the floor, too. Read more

Family was visiting out of town, and they can be picky eaters. I picked Pastini's at random, which turned out to be a great... choice for everyone. It was hard to pick just one pasta or one salad. We ended up ordering a variety. Read more
