If you?re looking for some Miami variety in Portland, def check out Palomar. Drinks are tasty, the vibes are a great place for... happy hour or for a 1st date. Plenty of side street parking. Friendly staff, and the food will hit you with flavors you didn?tknow were in the Pacific Northwest. Advice - start with some starters. You can?t go wrong with any of the options. Just a delightful space, I love the colors and the menu is darling. BUT even more importantly the food and drinks are so, so... good. AND our server was so great and fun to talk to, he gave us the perfect amount of time to check out the menu and order andamount of checking in on us was just right. I joked with my partner about how this was a better Miami experience then Mimai was. I found this place on a reservation app and... when I drove up I was excited because I?d been wanting to try this place for a few years now and it did not disappoint. The foodwas incredible and the drinks were equally as incredible. I?d need to return just to try more of their drinks. The CROQUETS DEJAMON are to die for. Honestly. So good. I should have ordered three orders of them. The MEDIA NOCHE was also amazing, a greatCuban sandwich. Finally the ARROZ CON POLLO was cooked well and flavorful but ultimately didn?t fit my flavor profile. Those wholove chicken, will love that dish. The staff was kind and the atmosphere was really great. I?m told last summer they had arooftop set up with a separate menu, I hope they bring that back- it sounds awesome! Read more

Girls night for drinks and tapas! Good venue, intimate and delightful. I do want to say thank you to the staff that were patient... with us after we stayed way to late after closing. Also if you have not you need to have the squash. It is soooooo goo. Read more
