Overall, this was a good experience. The food if very fresh and the curry udon is a definite repeat. I had the combination... plate which did not fail to satisfy. The hi-ball was mild and pairs nicely with the foods. The servie was fine, but they didnot bring out any water refills. Food was brought out as it was ready so expect a few minutes from the first item to the last. Read more

I ordered a combo plate for a taste of everything. I could choose 2 flavors of onigiri and I chose buddahs hand with miso and... ginger pistachios. I liked the latter more. I think the buddahs hand is an acquired taste but I'd recommend to try it if youhaven't. Everything in the combo was yummy, I was very full at the end of my meal ???? Read more

Delicious! Comfort food at its finest. Reminds me of where I used to live with this bento place run by a Japanese gal next door... that I'd go to all the time. Everything is vegetarian and most things have vegan+gluten free options, which is super nice.Everything was delicious! Read more

I cannot recommend this place enough! Every meal we tried off of the menu was a huge hit. The udon salad was especially... delicious, but me and a group of 4 ordered a ton of things off the menu and every single one was delicious! Also the staff hereare the most friendly and down to earth folks ever. They make you feel right at home and are so so kind. Definitely check outthis delicious Japanese spot if you haven't gotten the chance to yet! Read more

Perhaps it was the items I ordered, but the food didn?t meet my expectations on taste or texture. The restaurant itself is... small, quaint and cozy with an open kitchen. It?s a sweet place to bring a date or sit kitchen-side and watch the chefs at work. The flavors and dishes are more unique, less classic, and I applaud the exploration. I ordered two of their torched onigiri, very interested by their flavors (seasonal ones are included)! First, parking in the area is extremely sparse and seems only tobe metered street parking. I arrived, watched them create, took my onigiris home to eat. While it was a 10 min drive, I couldtell that the torching hadn?t crisped the rice, rather colored it. The onigiri fell apart with one bite to my dismay. Theflavors while special were all much saltier than I would like. The concept is great but the execution doesn?t seem to beconsistent enough to return to. Read more

Amazing food! Amazing people and great service! I have gotten food at the farmers market and before they were in their new spot.... Both times I was blown away by the quality of the food and flavor. The Okonomiyaki is especially wonderful. The onigiri flavorsare inspiring and delicious. I bought a pint of the soup, ate it in minutes and went back to order another one. Read more
