Stopped in for Burger Week and can't wait to make this a regular spot! There's something here for everyone with a lot of... different menu options, including homemade mushroom/quinoa patties, and hearty buns. Lots of fun sauce options to try also. Iwent back in for a shake after my meal, which far exceeded my expectations! You can get them with coconut milk, soy milk, or acombination. Sad I waited so long to come here! Read more

Cool little vegan fast food place at the end of Hawthorne selling burgers, chicken, hotdogs and milkshakes. Oh, and beer. We got... a spicy kraut brat, they used the beyond sausage which is pretty good but it was the messiest meal i?ve ever had, it just felleverywhere. For my most recent visit to Next Level Burger, I tried their Beyond Cluckin' Good Burger, which is featured for only $6, during... Portland Mercury's Burger Week 2021. It is one of relatively few completely vegan offerings, this year. UPDATE: According totheir Instagram, they will be continuing to offer this sandwich, for a month (or while supplies last). It was my first timetrying Beyond Chicken Tenders, which were amazing. I genuinely couldn't tell that they weren't chicken! Excellent flavor andtexture (the texture is a sponge, akin to, say, McDonald's chicken nuggets, as an example, and different from most jackfruitvegan chicken wings). The Beyond Cluckin' Good Burger features organic French fries, tempeh bacon, vegan nacho cheese, organiclettuce, organic tomato and vegan chipotle mayo. After nine other Burger Week burgers, a vegan fried chicken sandwich was awelcome oasis, and was definitely one of the top sandwiches, thus far. If you want to convince your omnivore friends thatplant-based foods can taste good, bring them here! In my experiences, the staff at the Hawthorne Next Level Burger have alwaysbeen friendly, helpful and professional. I will definitely be back to try more Beyond Chicken and Beyond Burger menu items. I wanted to really like this place. I mean, next level in the name got me hyped. Cobb salad was fresh but lackluster in flavor.... Beware the large fry is small fry. Chicken sandwich was solid for sure, while petite in size. Whatever you do, don?t order thechili. It was a definite bust with its odd texture, more mush than chili. Overall I have my regrets.
