What a fantastic place to stumble across. I was really taken by how well this place does in creating an amazing experience. The... food was delicious with generous portions, the flavors were delightful, and the story behind this place is really cool. They'veturned their home into a Nepalese sanctuary of sorts, building all these little breezy, enclosed cabanas around their propertyfor you to choose as your dining area. It feels like a little oasis. A truly unique experience, and one I'm going to bereturning to again and again. This is now my favorite place to eat in Portland, it feels so good to support this place. I'velived here for 20 years, and this is not to be missed. Read more

Truly a unique experience! I couldn't quite tell from the descriptions here, but this is essentially a food window connected to... a beautiful garden area to sit in the open as well as private little booths to sit in with your party to eat and chat. Theatmosphere is incredible. We tried food as well as chai and both were delicious. Will definitely be back, this is the perfectplace for a relaxing meal! Read more

A good place to eat authentic Nepali cuisines. Please ask for freshly cooked momo if you want delicious ones else there is a... chance you might get frozen ones. The ambience is decent but only to go when the temperature is good. It?s kind of open placewith no heaters or ACs. The small cubicles built for dining in are really a good idea. #nepalifood #nepalicuisines #momo Read more

I read the story behind this place somewhere and was intrigued. The ambience of this place definitely draws you in. The fact... that the family built those little pods in their backyard all by themselves is pretty commendable. I just kept admiring thecraftsmanship and little details everywhere. The food came pretty quickly. We happened to be there on a rainy December day whichisn't the best weather to enjoy a place like this. But it definitely made us appreciate the warm momos and tea even more. But ifI had to judge the food more objectively, it was missing something. Like I feel like I won't want to go back for just the food. But still, a wonderful concept. Read more

It is one of the best authentic Neapli restaurant that you can can experience in portland oregon. It is in number 1 list for me... so far in the eintre state of oregon for nepali resturants. Very simple menu, affordable price and food is awesome. only onesuggestion that I will like to give is add a sukuti in the menu and make momo ko achaar little hot. Read more

This place is great! Walk through the entryway and Fremont melts away from you as you step into a little garden surrounded by... small dining pods, the air filled with calming music. The menu is short and simple, making food selection straightforward andeasy. We grabbed the lentil soup with rice, some dumplings, roti, and two chai teas. The food came quickly but the dining podsare so nice that I would have happily waited twice as long- it?s a very relaxing experience. The chai teas came out first, theypack a powerful flavour punch and are not very sweet (which is good I think). Everything we ordered was great; piping hot, tasty, and portion sizes large enough for us to have leftovers for tomorrow?s lunches. The server was very helpful and prompt,he did a great job helping with my allergies. I would highly recommend this spot, it is unlike anywhere else I?ve been inPortland. Read more
