I have been here countless times, one of my favorite restaurants in the entire world. The food always tastes amazing, I always... feel like a million bucks after eating here. Please disregard the haters, if you want a delicious Indian buffet, this is theplace! I recommend dining in. Peoples expectations on the quality of third-party delivery food is completely out-of-whack, youcan safely disregard their belly-aching. Get off your behind and enjoy the full-buffet experience. This place is so good that I went 2 days in a row. I may go again for lunch today. Staff is friendly and the options on the... buffet are unbelievable. I?m someone who wants variety, not just one single dish. The amount of veg and meat options and thequality are exceptional. I particularly enjoy the curry goat. Soft drink and dessert are included in the price. Very friendlystaff. This place deserves MORE than 4 stars. Also, shame on all the people using Uber eats and delivery apps to order from aplace with a sit down menu and a buffet. It?s not a culture I support. Notice that they are the ones complainingdisproportionately. Read more

For the $14 price for the lunch buffet, it's good. Fountain drink, fresh salad bar, and soft serve ice cream is included. Was in... Portland for work for a couple of weeks. It's located near my hotel and parking nearby is available. Fresh food and cleanrestaurant. Love the chicken curry and the Mango soft serve is a must. Even brought my brother here for lunch and he enjoyed it.They had a good flow of dine-in, carry-out, and online orders from what I saw. Very good for the price. Highly recommend tofamily and friends! The buffet use to be fresh. Now it is kinda dry. All the chicken flavors were dried out. The Naan Bread was fresh and amazing.... But the rice was old and dry too. I use to go all the time. Sadly, this will be my last visit. Read more

As with most buffet styles situations not every dish that is offered is perfection. I usually do a small sampler plate at the... beginning and narrow it down to the one dish that i find the most interesting as the main with a couple of sides. And in thiscase it was the goat that was at the very end of the line. Out of the three self-serve soft desserts only one was working whichwas the mango. It was actually subtle in its taste which I enjoyed. Service and environment were adequate, but a little moreattention should be paid to the bathrooms. Overall a pleasant experience. Read more

I went to Namaste on Welder for the first time on Saturday. I ordered from the buffet. The different sauces with and without... chicken did taste good, however, the rice looked old and not fresh. While I was eating and looking around, I got the vibe thatthe restaurant wasn't very sanitary. I totally didn't expect this from an Indian restaurant and at Namaste at that. The placecould be great if they would clean, sanitize, disinfect things like the glass over the food and the ice cream nozzle. Thislocation needs a total makeover. It's as if the owners don't care about it and it definitely shows. I'm big on cleanliness. Espectially when it comes to where I eat. They also need new and better rice cookers, the 2 they had looked old and worn out. I also had major concerns with how people have to reach their arms over the open rice cooker to close it allowing anything ontheir arm to fall in the rice unnoticed. Please Namaste, Do Better. Absolute disaster andwaste of $18 . The goat biriyani has literally no taste no smell . Never experienced such horrible food! They don?t deserve 1star ! Period . I have to trash it and claim money from Uber eats Read more

I would have to say one my my worst Indian food experiences. The price for buffet was good but the quality of food and flavors... lacked. The rice was dry and under hydrated too. Would be great if they had half the number of dishes and spent more time onquality. What was surprising was they were busy with orders. Portlandians are so used to bland sandwiches that any slighthint of cultural cuisine pleases them. Their Naan was good and so was the goat curry Read more
