A cozy place that is wonderful for celebrations. We started with a refreshing Aperol based cocktail. We also ordered a bottle... of their featured wines. Their wine list had a great selection of Italian wines. We shared all of the dishes which was fun asI enjoy trying lots of different menu items. The prosciutto and burrata was delicious as well as gorgeous! The scallops wereuniquely prepared with a Parmesan sauce and saffron flavored drops of another sauce. My favorite dish was the torteli withmushrooms! The sauce was exquisite. The chocolate desert was also delightful and went well with the birthday Amarone gelato! The place has really nice ambience, as well a very attentive service. Their appetisers were incredible: the octopus and steak... tartar were nicely prepared and paired, one of the best beef tartars I have ever had with a great balance with the crunchinesselements added. Scallops were well seasoned and crispy, pasta was well al dente but a bit on the heavy side. Steak didn’t doit for me, I felt like it was dry and the berry sauces were in all directions. Such a hidden gem! This restaurant has two floors and is super romantic. The night we were dining their service was excellent... and every single dishes we had were deliciously outstanding! Absolutely amazing. I don’t like cheese but I didn’t know they have it on dishes and I ate them all! Every dish come slow... and small, it’s exactly what I like so I don’t have to eat too much or I can always order more. And they are able to makedishes evenly shade so it’s nice to share with your friends. Definitely gonna come back. Read more

Well it's that time of the year where it's my birthday and I wanted to go somewhere nice in Portland to celebrate my... birthday! Made reservations to Mucca and it was my first time here. What a wonderful restaurant. Nice rustic ambiance. Veryattentive servers and staff. They explained each dish and the items in each dish. All of the food items I ordered were reallygood and I didn't have any dishes that I thought was just blah. But what I loved the most was the simple appetizer of Tomatoes,pesto, and burrito cheese. Simple but very delicious.The Squid Ink pasta was amazing and delicious as well. Well portioned.Enough pasta and seafood mixed. Great reataurant and I will definitely be back! Read more
I’d give it a 3.5/5. We did the tasting menu and did the drink pairing with it. Unfortunately we were disappointed with almost... half of the courses and leaving with a $320 (before tip) bill makes you think about how good the food was. The pasta andscallops and dessert and all the wines were delicious. The other 3 tasters were only ok, including the main entree which waschewy steak with a weird pairing of raspberry and raw tomato. I’d say skip out on the tasting and just eat dinner there,because some of the food was delicious. For us the bill was not at all worth the dinner. Good staff, nice atmosphere. Read more
