The service was phenomenal, even got into talking books with the server. This food was mouth watering. The collard greens are... tangy but also not entirely soft and soggy, bit of a snap still; cornbread was flavorful and the honey butter is rich andcreamy; cheese grits were SO DELICIOUS I almost started weeping; and the ribs were well marinated, tender, and the sauce issweet and sour at the same time. Excellent. The bloody Mary is also probably one of the best mixes I've tasted in Portland, salty and vinegary with pickled asparagus. Get. Your. Butts. Over. Here. Read more

This was such a nice surprise of a place! The food was soooo good! All the staff was so attentive and friendly and you could... tell they LIKED being there! Plus the place itself was so cool and the art was fantastic! Gave us great things to talk aboutduring our meal. Can't wait to return. This is a new Portland fave! Read more

Food was so good. We ordered fried pickles, chicken and waffles, chicken fried steak, spicy stack, meatloaf plus biscuits and... gravy for the table. We didn't finish anything as the portions were generous. Totally recommend going on empty stomach andsharing several items to try everything. Mimosas and sweet tea were tried and yummy. Great deal price wise I thought. Lovedthe vibe and super friendly staff. Add this to your Portland trip. Read more

Accommodating & delicious. What a cute place that will make you feel like you’re next to an old train station in the bayou.... Smoke from the kitchen helps to set the tone as does friendly & laid back staff. Very attentive. The food is 10/10. The redbeans & rice had just enough spice. Great vibe and fun area. Side note- the pecan pie LOOKED amazing. Straight out of an oldhomemade New Orleans kitchen. Read more

Went with family and had an incredible time our didn’t get the name of the gentleman in front but he was so sweet and kind.... The food was awesome, 10/10 I ordered the catfish 1 piece thinking it wouldn’t be that big but it was a nice size. I can’twait to come back when I take another trip to Oregon! Read more

Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday. Required reservations to get a seat inside, so sat at the bar. Got the two meat option:... blackened chicken, crispy edges, Mac n cheese & collard greens. Overall it was quite good. Least favorite was probably the mac ncheese, nothing too special. The two meats were very flavorful & fairly tender. The crispy edges were not too fatty, which wasnice. Would come back, for sure Read more

Spectacular service, very attentive staff. My favorite was the burnt tips, which was mouthwatering and left you wanting for... more. The brisket was slightly dry, but adding the sauce gave it that extra flavor. I enjoyed the coleslaw, but not really thecollard greens, it is a vinegar base flavor. Overall, I will be back since a girl from the south will always crave bbq! Read more

The food smelled SO good, I forgot to take pictures because I couldn't wait to dig in. But here's the leftovers I brought... home... and what I'll say is, WOW. We are so glad we finally made it to Miss Delta's! I had the fried chicken (breast and wing)and even the breast was tender, juicy, crispy and absolutely delicious. The gumbo was equally good, rich and hearty. And thesides were just as good... we had candied yams, mac & cheese & collards - which had delicious chunks of pork in them. Portionswere - plentiful - and we both came home with leftovers. Definitely go visit Miss Deltas!! Read more
