Do not waste your time and money. Wanted a quick late night snack and got stuck in the drive thru for at least 30-45 minutes it... was absurd. I then could barely hear the speaker. They did not have ice cream. The staff was not friendly, barely said a word,didn?t mention why the wait was awful or offer anything to compensate. Today, November 11th, 2022, is Veteran?s day. Many restaurants offer a free meal or coffee for veterans as a thank you. I called... this McDonalds on N. Lombard around 9:30 this morning and asked if they offer a free meal for veterans. She didn?t understandwhat I said. I repeated myself three times and phrased the question in different ways in case she could pickup certain words.She still didn?t understand me. She asked in broken English if I had called yesterday. Finally, she hands the phone to someoneelse. This lady can?t speak English either. I asked again several times slowly. She finally said she doesn?t understand. I can?tdescribe to you how incredibly frustrating it is to not be understood. Why can?t management hire people that can speak English?How in the world do they run this business? Also, the phone rang 29 times before they answered it. I can see why they don?t wantto answer the phone since they don?t understand English and it would be a waste of time. If you want a milkshake or a hot fudge sundae, make sure you go before dark. As if on cue, both machines magically 'break' once... the sun sets! It's much further to drive, but I now go to the McD's at the corner of Columbia Blvd and MLK Jr Blvd, if I want alate night dessert. Read more

Stopped by here 2 times and the lobby was closed every time. The first was on a weekday at 7pm and when I called they close the... lobby at 7 (the door says 10pm), the second time was on a Sunday at 1:30pm (didn?t bother calling and left since only one lanewas open. They were only taking one order at a time, cooking it and then giving it to the car before taking the next vehicle.The cars were lined through the parking lot and into the street. Read more
DO NOT go to this location. There are staffs who may trick you into paying more money without you even realizing that. Also... remember to always check your receipt and dispute right away on the spot if the charged amount is different. For my case, oneof the staffs/manager was ignorant and immediately dismissed me by telling me it?s not her problem and that I should callMcDonald?s customer services. I insisted that she should correct my amount and she started raising her voice saying shecouldn?t do anything and that I should call customer services. What a bad customer service from this person. I did callMcDonald?s customer service and was disappointed to find out that they are only able to forward my request/dispute to thespecific branch location to get back to me, and so far i did not hear anything and would not expect to due to the horribleservice I received from that staff. No they messed my food up fr fr. I was just trying to have a fun little night with the homies and they did not like my energy or... something. I got the 2 for 6 which was a great idea in my head but not in reality. I got a quarter pounder for the first timeever and it was so raw. I also got chicken nuggets and they never got in the meal. The food is always what I expect, which is good. I have no complaints regarding that. I always use the drive-thru & the staff... has always been friendly & has always gotten my order correct. I have gone inside twice just to use the restroom. The women'srestroom has always been clean & well stocked. My only issue is the layout of the parking lot. Read more
