Reviews for Marco’s Café and Espresso Bar in Portland, OR
Food was good. Food came quickly. Staff handled a miscommunication well. New dish came out as fast as many places serve... original meals. This is a bit of a soft 5*, 4.5 maybe... Food was good but not quite up to the level of our favorite breakfastspot (closed because in 100° heat kitchen closed). Clean. Decor would make a good date spot. Didn't use, but the outdoorseating looks nice. Read more
Marco’s is our favorite local spot to stop by with our dog and enjoy a nice meal, no matter the time of day. Their huevos... rancheros are amazing, but the dinner specials are where it’s at. The specials are a bit pricier than their normal entrees, expect to pay at least $20 per person, though it is totally worth it. Today we had the beef short ribs with fish and chips, andthe fish was surprisingly better than what we’ve had from Seasons & Regions. Our server Mariana was AMAZING- I cannot sayenough good things about her. She offered and brought our pup some water, and was on top of everything else. Wonderful waitressand person overall, made the experience even more lovely :) Read more
What a lovely breakfast spot! Super cute decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time and the food was... quite good! The menu had a good selection to choose from. And the food came in a reasonable amount of time. I definitelyrecommend the spot to anyone looking for a nice breakfast! Read more
Came in for late lunch, surprised to see so many tables filled - I thought, "that's a good sign"! We sat outside as weather was... decent. Service is fast and attentive. I had the Chilaquile's, they were good but not the best. My friend loved her sandwich &they gave her a ton of fries. She had a nice, raspberry cocktail. Overall a nice place. I will visit again. I had one of their scramble specials and a 4 oz cappuccino. The food was pretty good, fresh veggies were on point. I think I... just like more seasonings in my food than is standard. The portions were enormous!! I had a side salad and subbed potatoes fortoast, which cost 5 dollars (!!). Very cute atmosphere and the service was excellent. It was overall a pretty good experience,I thought a bit overpriced for the food however. The espresso was burnt but it was awesome to have a 4 oz drink option. If theyhadn't have charged 5 dollars to sub potatoes, and used a bit more seasoning (any seasoning besides salt and pepper?) I probablywould give it 5 stars. I paid 28 dollars plus tip for 2 coffees and the meal. Read more

Our sons new favorite place. I love the Benedict, he loves the fish and chip and the belgian waffles. I like the fries better... than their breakfast potatoes, so that's how I roll on my order. Wait can be long so show up early. Service has been great! Read more
