The taco salads from there are a work of art. They only have black beans which I prefer, the Carne Asada is flavorful, they are... generous with the avocado, and the freshly fried shell is a crispy treat in this beautifully presented salad. Be warned that thered/orange sauce is rather spicy. Delicious pero, es más o menos picante! Read more

Shrimp soup, and Mole with chicken enchiladas. Also had 2 sodas for $38. Can't go wrong here. Food portions are pretty big.

La Parrilla kitchen is awesome! The people here are so nice, and the food is amazing. It's kind of Americanized Mexican food but... with a unique spin. Free chips and salsa. House-made green (mild) / red (hot) sauce. Interesting plating / presentation (thatburrito was not what I was expecting to get in a place that looks vaguely stripmall-ish). I will be back for sure. A word ofwarning though: unless you are extremely hungry, split a dish with whoever you go with. Portions are very large. I managed tofinish that burrito but I have regrets. Read more

Here's how I would describe this restaurant: -Locally owned. -Small menu of mainly Americanized Mexican dishes. -Nachos with... salsa are free -There are a few unique menu items. The lamb burrito is a standout. Basically it's like a gyro wrapped as aburrito with Mexican seasoning. -Menudo is available for those seeking more traditional Mexican fare. -No-frills decor withample seating. You order at the counter and pay after eating, but there is table service. -Friendly staff and promptservice. -A few healthier options, such as grilled fish tacos/burritos, are quite good. -Both their homemade hot sauces areworth trying.
