So glad I found this wonderful food cart in Sellwood. Karim is an excellent chef. Our favourite Moroccan food cart near our house has been closed, and I happened across this one further away and was blown away!... The lamb is amazing, I brought my partner back here a few days later to surprise them and we took our food to go for a picnic.He even gave us a free baklava for coming back. I'm glad I checked this cart out! They have stuff that toy normally don't see everyday at the food carts. I was really intrigued... with their chicken paella so I ordered it and I am glad that I did. Everything about the paella was excellent! The chicken wasalso super moist and flavorful. Its definitely a dish worth trying out. The prices are also reasonable. Read more
I was looking for good paella, and this cart had good reviews of paella, so I went out of my way to try it out. La Camel did not... disappoint. It's a Moroccan take on paella which was a little different from the Spanish style I was used to, but equallydelicious and interesting to try. We ordered one each of the seafood and chicken paellas. Normally I'd prefer the seafood, but Ithink their chicken paella might have been the better of the two. Great stuff. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of theirmenu. Read more
Amazing flavors. Food carts are a dice roll, but this one is exceptional. He cooks a lot to order, so it's not super fast, but... 5-10 minutes to get the best Mediterranean food I've ever had? Yes please. Huge portion for 8.25, I'm thrilled with this lunch. Read more
