It?s like if someone showed you a foot long sand which and then delivered a 2in . I have never even seen a roll cut this small... before in my life . How did they even do it . If you stack to pieces on top of each other you get a whole piece . I alsoordered the fried rice with avocado on top . $6 per order . 2 pieces per order so 3$ each . One bite and that?s all they take .The ride was not even fried , lightly batered or crunchy . And it?s topped with Safeway guacamole which is terrible . Spent $30and my stomach is still growling . I ordered from them through postmates, and when my order arrived it looked like this. The edamame was frozen solid (you can see... the frost in the picture) and the sushi was falling apart. I also ordered an avocado roll and cucumber roll, but they sent metwo cucumber ones instead. I feel as though you are paying more for the packaging rather than the quality. Read more
Didn?t get all of the food we ordered and paid for.. what we got wasn?t crispy at all. It wasn?t good at all. Not even the... presentation. It had avocado all over the box. I really enjoyed Krispy Rice! They've got a special twist to a bunch of my favorite Japanese flavors. The packaging was well... thought out and felt very classy for something delivered to my door. Unlike other reviewers, my crispy rice was actually Krispyand was a wonderful experience! I highly suggest giving it a try, I'll certainly be ordering from them again! Sushi was absolutely terrible. I ordered four different rolls from GrubHub. The packaging was very chic, and the napkins were... super thick and nice, but fish was not fresh at all. The initial appearance looked quality, but I could already smell a bit ofan unpleasant odor when I got the bag. The condiments were prepackaged in plastic packs, which I thought seemed a littlestrange. The rolls were a bit sloppy, and the fish had a mushy appearance. I tried one of each roll, and they were all equallyterrible. They got the order right, which is the only reason I'm giving them two stars, but the food was awful. I was starvingand had a craving for sushi, but my usual spots were all closed. After trying four rolls I completely lost my appetite. I didn'tget sick, but they didn't sit well. So I ordered Krispy Rice for pick up and if sent me to a food cart pod at NE MLK & Lombard, when the address on google maps said... it?s in the west side. Okay. I ordered at around 7 pm for a pick up at 7:50-8:00 pm pick up, I arrived a little after 8, andthey had me wait for my order to be ready for another 30 minutes. Then once I got the food, the rice wasn?t even crispy, noteven a touch of crisp. And the fish was practically pulped. There are better options out there people!!!!!!!!!!!! Don?t wasteyour $$$ here. First time here! Loved the cute design! The address is 2715 SE 8th Ave. it was hard to find but I had to call for help. The... sushi was 27$ and it was worth the experience. The sushi was good, not bad. The best was the hand roll, I would try the Kristyrice if I ate raw sushi. The Krispy shrimp was good, definitely not too much batter which is good. Updating review because the last few times I've ordered from here have been a nightmare. Wrong items, items a mess in the box,... rice not crispy, being told my order was ready only to get there and be told they were sold out. This place is sadly a mess,both literally and figuratively. Read more
