What a quaint and charming place with delicious tortas and bowls. I particularly like it when a restaurant does a few things... really, really well. I think G?ero gets that and focuses on consistency and a simple menu that really elevates and brings thejoy. We especially liked eating our meal outside on a simple 2x10 wood plank--trust me. It works! Final point-the homemade salsagoes great on everything. Carrots and habaneros really make this one unique. Read more

Great outdoor set up. Food was delicious and very filling. They have a fun variety of margaritas. Location is very close to a... few parks if you?re planning a picnic or looking to walk off your meal. Next time I have to try the guacamole, it looked fireat someone else?s table Read more

Honestly the food is as good as the other reviews say. We had the guacamole dip, bean dip, chicken torta and corn. We ate... outside on the covered patio. You order inside the restaurant and they bring the food to your table. You get your own silverwareand water and buss your own table. Everything that we ordered tasted so good especially the chicken torta. I could only eat halfof it. It was filling but flavorful. A definite five star restaurant. This place fills up fast so try to get there as early aspossible. Read more

Pros: the location/space is cute. Staff is extremely friendly. The food came out super quickly and my husband loved his torta.... The cocktails were great. Their hot sauce was good too. Cons: The food was pretty good; I just don't feel it was worth theprice. They have different dips on the menu (guacamole, bean dip) and then charge extra for chips (so $7 for guacamole, then $3if you want chips with it, which of course you do). I have never seen that before and it was annoying. We got the bean dipand it was tasty, but was essentially a small container of refried black beans for $6 (really $9, since we had to pay extra forchips). My bowl was good, but about half of it was just arugula and cabbage. I want to like this place; it's super cute and thestaff is so nice. Ultimately I don't think it's worth the money to come here again. Read more

So, being a Texan, I can't say it tasted like authentic Mexican food. But many of the typical flavor profiles and ingredients... were used and the dishes were tasty! Fun place to go with friends, both indoor and outdoor seating. Lively atmosphere but nottoo noisy! Read more
