Outstanding bakery! The Happy Goat sandwich is my favorite. The combination of goat cheese and chimichurri is so delicious!! I... love how the veggies added to the sandwich are seasonal. This time it was carrots, but my favorite is the summer one where theyadd green asparagus. The sandwiches are a little expensive ($11.05 for the Happy Goat), but they are great quality and made onhousemade bread, so it is worth it. The coffee is great as well, the staff friendly, and the space welcoming. It is very busy(even during the week!) but is so worth it. Read more

How do they make their cheese danish SO GOOD?! There's something in the cream cheese filling that makes it unlike any other I've... ever had before. I literally dream about this cheese danish. And by literally I mean figuratively. But seriously, it's reallygood and I think about it a lot. You should try it even if you're not a fan of cheese danish. Read more

Have been thinking about stopping in for lunch and finally did today. I ordered the Turkey Deluxe as shown here. It was okay.... The bread seemed heavy and the sandwich seemed dry for me. I tend to usually not eat too many sauces but this is one time Iwished there had been more mayo. I added the chips and cookie and ordered an additional cookie. Both cookies were dry/hard and Ithink this is due to pastries/cookies sitting out in the open. There was a fly on the muffins after I had ordered. The place ispretty busy and the wait for the sandwiches was pretty lengthy on a weekend. Overall I wasn't impressed with what we receivedgiven the price. I really wanted to like it and there were plenty of people there so I think others are happy but it just wasn'tfor me. Read more

An awesome breakfast place and wonderful staff too! Make sure you keep a buffer on your tummies when you visit here on weekends.... Popular also equals some minor queues. But rest assured, it moves quickly too! Checkout the seasonal sandwiches here! Read more

So first off... Wow this place is chaotic. And I worked for Chick-fil-A for a few years, so I know chaos. But much like that... fast food place, everything flows smoothly here. Even the fellow who'd only been here three days helped everything move alongwonderfully. As for the food - I'd say pretty good. The muffins tasted like the kind I'd make at home, same with my iced coffeeand breakfast croissant. The only point of contention - cost. It was near $20 for all three items (admittedly the sandwich was50% of that cost, which for what I paid was not much - hence the 4 star review). I'll definitely come back, but probably onlyas a treat. Would recommend to anyone visiting Portland. Read more

Got a beautiful sandwich with a pickle wrapped separately inside the sandwich paper, a coffee, and a loaf of sour rye bread.... Everything was delicious and the setting and service was pleasant if busy. I will be back. I am writing because the veganspecialty sandwich was a great find and full of yummy stuff. However, one ingredient was especially bitter. I know the benefitsof bitter greens and usually enjoy them. This one was pretty bitter. It appeared to be the stems from the raab? Just letting youknow! Like I said, I will be back to try the next specialty vegan sandwich soon! Thanks. Read more

I really like this place. Or want to like this place. The baked goods are awesome, but when ordering a meal, it falls apart. I... order the croissant breakfast sandwich regularly, which is great, but they never get the egg ?over hard? right, it alwaysexplodes everywhere - I can move past and accept, like I said, I like the sandwich still. Recently, I?ve been ordering withavocado - I gave them three chances since I figured it was just a one time oops. Three times, three brown avocados later. Don?tpay extra for avocado here. Read more
