People like me have to be more patient in these trying times. I complained about this wonderful business's website instead of... waiting until the following day to wonder why I couldn't get my products ordered. I finally did call and received the mostpolite, delightful and helpful service. The bread and the wonderful meal(s) ordered were delicious, as usual, and I am a happycustomer. Read more

Wow, what happened to this place?! Granted, it?s been awhile since I?ve had a sandwich here so maybe management has changed but... their food used to be amazing! I could have made a MUCH better egg sandwich at home but I took a long morning walk through OaksBottom yesterday and was craving BACON, and espresso, which I didn?t have at home, so I decided to pop in here. I wasremembering their delicious BLT with thick stacks of pepper bacon and heirloom tomatoes, mmm! Well a BLT wasn?t on the menu butno problem, I ordered a build-your-own instead: hard fried egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, & tomato relish on sliced whole wheat. This was an $11.40 sandwich, the bacon portion alone was $4. So what I ended up with was a totally out of proportion mess withthe wrong elements being oozy. For example, the yolk was super runny, so much so I could barely lift the sandwich (went throughmountains of napkins) with glops of tomato relish oozing out (no nice shmear here!) but the cheese was not at all melty, insteadit was hard and caked to the bread like an old grilled cheese! Worst part? No $4 bacon! So I had to wait back in line and tellthem there was no bacon on my sandwich. Cashier had to go through a bunch of old receipts to prove to herself that she orderedbacon (Um, I can tell you since I just paid and my total was twenty bucks for a sandwich, medium capp & tip!). I then had towait several minutes for a side of bacon and what arrived were two of the SADDEST skinniest little slivers of scalding, bubblinghot meat that I then had to add to my now cold & congealed sandwich. Ok, lest you think I exaggerate - would you pay FOURdollars for this bacon? Almost $12 for this sandwich?? I am so saddened that this once great bakery and sandwich shop hasdeclined so drastically. What a bummer. Read more

Bread was good, as were other ingredients. I ordered the chutney Turkey sandwich? just that there was hardly any Turkey on it.... Took a while but they were busy so no worries there but was hoping for a more substantial sandwich. Read more

I would give you a five star review except for there's no place to park. I had a hazelnut and pesto croissant. It was very very... good. My companion had a turkey deluxe. Neither one of us likes lettuce in our sandwich. Read more

Me and my family love this bakery, my mom visits it at least once every time she's in town. On weekend mornings there is almost... always a line out the door - but with good reason: the food is very yummy. Despite the line, the employees are always friendlyand fast working, they never seem understaffed which is good. I've never had to wait super long to get my food or coffee. Bonuspoints for the location itself, there's lots of other shops to visit on this street in Sellwood (food, shopping, etc!) Read more
