Great ambiance, friendly, personable servers, exceptional crepes of multiple varieties. This is one of these kinda places that I... really don?t want folks to know about but in these times, I think it appropriate to share. Dine in or out, take out is just asbusy as walk in. Exceptional food, reasonable prices, a gem in the heart of the Hawthorne District. Take a date, come withfriends, you won?t be disappointed. Chad, Sophia and crew are boss!! Read more

I?ve only been twice, but I think about this food every day. Seriously the best food and service I?ve had since moving to... Portland three years ago. This is where I take all my friends and family when they come to visit. Order take out if you must, but Frog and Snail is best enjoyed nestled inside the cafe on a rainy weekday. I hope Frog & Snail is here for the rest of time.???? Read more

Cute little spot, the food and coffee were both good. I got a crepe benedict with ham and gruyere cooked into the center of the... crepe which was excellent. Service and environment both nice. No complaints. Read more

I tried Frog & Snail for the first time this morning. It was so good! They have a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I enjoyed... the breakfast crepe which has scalloped potatoes, eggs, sausage and a delicious créme fraîche sauce. I also shared some of thestuffed lemon and ricotta french toast and my friend got the farmer's crepe loaded with veggies and delicious cheese. Everythingwas so good. I would highly recommend Frog & Snail if you are in the area!! Read more

There is only one issue with Frog & Snail: The food is so good you're going to want even more! My partner and I were able to... enjoy a nice little outdoor table together and the service was phenomenal. The staff was incredibly kind, the food didn't takelong to get to us, and just look at those plates! It's just bite after bite of amazing flavors. I personally recommend theFrench Onion Meatball Sub because wow, I never knew I could have that kind of a soup in a sub somehow? It's beyond marvelous andprobably one of the best little brunch spots in all of Portland. P.S. The prices are also incredibly amazing for how great thefood is! I'm used to paying way more in PDX so this was a really good surprise. Read more

Ordered the lemon ricotta ?stuffed? French toast. I was so disappointed by the ?stuffing?, as it was simply a light, barely... there layer of ricotta and Marion berry compote. It was more like two pieces of toast with a thin spread slapped together into asad sandwich. I also ordered the big breakfast wrap, which was good, and the reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1. Great place for both those with a sweet tooth and hankering for savory delights. I got The German with a fried egg on top while... my wife got The Deluxe. The German was so delicious and the added egg just took it to another level. The Deluxe was alsoperfectly balanced since the apples added a little tartness overall. Super great!! Read more
