Friendly staff, but on a Saturday night I don't really want a loud DJ and screaming drunk 20k somethings. Fortunately their... upstairs patio was more quiet and comfortable. It's set to to bring food cart snacks in to enjoy with a cocktail. That's adecent concept and I'll be getting to know this place a bit more this summer. Read more
Food carts are good - just a word of warning about the restrooms. They have removed male/female signs so you don?t know which... one you?re walking into. One has a urinal and one doesn?t, but there?s no way to know which is which until you walk in (FYI, theleft has a urinal and the right doesn?t). My sister went in the one on the left, and since there is a lock on the inside of thedoor, she thought she had locked it, but apparently the lock doesn?t work and she came out of the stall to find a guy peeing inthe urinal. I?m sure this is an attempt to be inclusive of certain people, but as a result it makes other people uncomfortable,such as people from other cultural backgrounds or just any of us females who would rather not accidentally see some random guy?sd***. Had the most AMAZING creation from Kenbu Sushi! A sushi panini and it was out of this world phenomenal ???????????? The layers... of flavor and texture whet spot on perfect! The use of rice as bread worked well as the crisp was thick enough to hold it alltogether. Also had a lovely fish and chip order. Fresh HUGE pieces if cod in a delicious batter that wasn't heavy at all. Kudosto the chef. Their coleslaw and tarter sauce was perfect! Finally I paired my food with a Blueberry and Pear Cider fromSchilling and a MAUI Dragon Fruit Seltzer which was light and refreshing. Loads of spaced out seating. Went there tonight for the first time, and even though there were only four carts, we liked the place a lot. We ate at the sushi... cart, Thai cart, and the gyro sandwich cart, and sampled some beers. We got there about 6, and it wasn't too crowded, we gotpretty quick service at the bar, and then went to get our food. By the time we were done eating, it did gotten considerably morecrowded, and the bar was packed with only one bartender. I waited in line to get another beer, but ended up just cashing out mytab because I didn't want to have to wait again. Checked out the upstairs, which was a lot more comfortable, on an outside deckwith a second bar, but we didn't stay. I'll have to come back another time, when they have more help and more carts. Really love this little bar/food cart combo! The balcony area is unique and has heaters and sun blockers as needed. There are a... few food trucks with enough variety for vegans and omnivores! Great prices too. Read more
