Driving back from Washington we stopped here on a Sunday night and had a great meal! First of all the vibe is very charming. We... sat inside in a booth in the dining room but the patio looked cute too. Garlic knots are addictive, burrata special salad wasdelicious (the one on the menu also looked good) my kids (teenagers) thought the pizza was amazing and we also had two types ofhomeade pasta. I asked my server her favorite because servers always know the best ones and she said radiatori so I got it and-guess what she was right-it was good as hell. I inhaled it! We got great service. Also had interesting and affordable italianwines by the glass. I didn't feel like cocktails but that list was tempting too. Very nice experience, I am so so happy thisplace is open on Sundays. This is good Italian food. The marinara sauce was light with good flavor. The meatballs had the right amount of fennel. All... around a nice lunch. We wanted Sunday dinner but we arrived too early so we had lunch. Quite enjoyable. Read more
I truly hope to make this three a five - yet until the owner fixes the AC and gets a sunshade in the back room - to sit in the... back room of this place is miserable in the summer. Everything else was perfect: staff - incredible, food: wonderful,unfortunately you won?t even be able to see your family and you will be soaking wet until the above is fixed - if you go in thesummer - sit outside. Please let me know when this is fixed so I can make my 3 - a 5 star rating. Once this is fixed I will givea 5 instantly. This used to a good place and one of our go tos once or twice a month precovid. We ate there tonight and wow has it gone down... hill. I got their new white bean and tomato salad and fries it was decent but pricey at $12 for the size of the serving. Myhusband ordered their new eggplant lasagna, $18 for a relatively small square, no bread, no salad included ( they used to givefree bread). The eggplant was inedible as it was not sufficiently cooked, and it was tough and rubbery. Since what we orderedwas new on the menu you'd think someone would have checked on us to see how our meal was, nope not one person. We ended uptelling the bus person how inedible the eggplant was and he said, "yeah they were concerned about it as they knew it's hard toget eggplant soft enough". Oh and the french fries came out kind of warm and not at all hot--that's on the server. So, I hopethey get better again, but we won't be going back. Fino Bistro & Pizzaria is our local Italian food destination of choice. The pasta is hand crafted on site and the menu feels... more "Pearl" than "Kenton" but the staff is nicer and the price point is slightly lower. Highly recommend a visit! Read more
From what I can tell, this seems like a classy place that puts a lot of care into their recipes. Since I was craving some... lasagna, I decided to order from Doordash. The meal was well-done, but not my favorite pasta dish. While I could tell that theyput care into crafting the noodles, I found the fennel to be strange, but maybe that's because my tastebuds aren't refinedenough. I'd want to come back and try some of their other food, though. Edit: I came back here today, not realizing I'veordered takeout from here before. I'm changing my rating to five stars, because their olive oil and garlic spaghetti tastedabsolutely perfect. The service inside was good as well. Came for Pizza Week. Will definitely be back for more! The "keep calm and curry on" pizza they did was fantastic! This is the... only pizza week spot my wife and I order an extra slice! My suggestion is that everyone orders something different, and you share. Go three courses. Caesar salad was AMAZING. Garlic... knots. Make sure one of your friends gets pizza, one gets pasta, one risotto. Get enough for leftovers. It?s all made inhouse, including pasta, and it?s as good as it gets. You?ll be thinking about it the next day, so make sure you have orderedenough for that. Seriously. For the love of god, SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT. Holy mole, all of them.
