Extremely good and robust vegetarian options. Usually, a sandwich shop has one or two veg sandwich options that aren't very... hearty, but East Side Deli has as many good options for a chubby vegetarian as they do for any meat eater--speaking as thatdemographic ????. Was great savior when I first "discovered" it for myself and kids. Personally, my first Reuben sandwich there was so perfect... that for 3 years I've been trying to re-experience it but to no avail. My sandwich was delicious. You have to order online which I don't love. There wasn't a good place to wait for your food if you... walk up so order ahead. Staff was perfunctory friendly and neither the app not the staff didn't alert us that our food was readyso we waited an extra 10 minutes or so unnecessarily. Read more

I'm actually thinking about their cajun sandwich right now, salivating. Super tasty. They also have a quick grab sandwich... vending machine outside. FYI: Fresh sandwiches are made for it, they haven't just been sitting in there, so if you don't carehow you want your bread, I'd go for it. Ordering on the app is a little dodgey. Two times now, we've tried a bunch in theirparking lot to get the order to go through and ended up just having to go to the window, because the app would crash. Not theirfault. Not yours. The pastrami sandwich that I ordered turned out to be a sauerkraut sandwich with a slight hint of pastrami. Terrible. Below:... photo that one sees when ordering the sandwich vs. what I actually got.
