I don?t know how to describe it. Lots of rich authentic flavors instead of that fake red ketchup type sauce that some places... tend to use. Super yummy! Excellent food. Highly recommend! Will be a regular as much as I?m in the area. Only down side is,they are closed on Sundays and we often like to eat out on Sundays so it?s not available. Great service. Precise onmodifications. Hands down! Best Pad See Yew in the city! Pad See Yew is my go to dish to order at Thai restaurants and there is a lot of... mediocre versions out there (bland, chewy beef). Order ahead by phone and it will be waiting for you to pick up if you're shorton time. Read more

I ordered two #44 (Mussaman Curry) which is what we usually order. It looked like they ran out of curry and they made two... portions out of one by adding plain water, we didn?t eat it. I visited Portland for work and one day walked to this food cart due to its convenient location. I?m gluten free and y?all, this... did not disappoint! I like eSan for their consistency and reasonable prices. You don't get quite 2 meals worth, but then you don't pay too much... either. They offer a wide range of Thai dishes and a variety of proteins and spiciness levels. I'm always happy to see an eSancart because I know it's gonna be ok. Read more
