Reviews for Dhaba Indian Kitchen in Portland, OR
The lamb korma is straight up flavorless and the meat is terrible. This might be the most disgusting curry I've ever tried as... it is flavorless and super watery. I'm not exaggerating when I say that there is almost no flavor in any of it aside from therice. I've been here multiple times expecting the food I used to know in the past, but the quality just isn't there. There areother Indian food carts mere feet away. Walk to one of those instead. Read more
If you order door dash from them they will put a order for one individual and rice. I ordered 60$ worth of food and received one... cup of rice and chicken along with a coke and juice. The dasher insisted they made no mistake so then this company must have nointegrity Read more
Being in the service industry i usually give a place a couple of tries because they could of had an off day but this place is... just off. Had a simple order of Naan, couple of veg Samosas and raita. The guy gave me a dirty look cause I had the audacity toorder when he was on a personal phone call. Then when he gave me my order, he informed me they had no raita but gave me 2 saucesthat came with the Samosas anyways. Told him I wanted my money back for the raita, then all of a sudden his englishcomprehension is impaired even though he spoke perfectly good english through out the whole process. Needless to say, I didn'tget my money back. Just throwing this out there to all my Indian food lovers; don't go there. There are plenty of other Indianestablishments in the area. Not only are they unethical but what an embarrassment to us in the food industry. Read more
Bar none my favorite meal on this planet. Shrimp Curry. I came from St. Joseph, Mo and ended up eating at this truck 4 times. I... wish I had the recipe, what I would give to have this near my hometown. This was from Knob Hill Dhaba Food Truck. Omg. Read more
SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! I used to love this place, they used to have very flavorful food. Over the past year, I?ve given them a try... about 3 times. I?ve kept hope that it was just that time that the food was off but they have consistently given me very poorquality food. I usually get the chicken tikka masala. Each time, its super watery, no consistency at all. Their is no flavor ofspices or anything at all in their sauce. The sauce feels like they had a pot with residue sauce, they swirled water in it andpoured it on the chicken. The rice I got today seemed like it was from yesterday and like they put too much water in it whenmaking it. Not worth it. Read more
Tasty Indian Food with affordable Price. I tried chicken wrap and it was weird that they added rice into it. It was like masala... rice and chicken rolled together with a wrap which I didn?t like that. Read more
June 2022 - Takeout food stall type of environment. Food/Pricing - Decent pricing for the food. The Lamb Curry is pretty good.... Masala Chai drink is inconsistent. Got this 3 different times this week. First day, the tea was very strong and flavor perfectlybalanced. Second day, tasted watered down. Third day, we asked for ot to be stronger, they made it more sweeter but that's aboutit. Service - All three times, the staff didn't look like they wanted to be there and lowkey look like they could care less ifyou buy their food or not. No estimation on how pong you'll have to wait for your order but during my experience this week itwas about 15-20 minutes each time. One time was only for the drinks. Read more
Definitely 5 of 5! I bought chicken tikka masala for me and vegetable korma for my gf. It was sooo good! Masala is little bit... spice and it?s such a good flavor. Vegetable korma not spicy at all, was perfect for my gf. And we ordered garlic naan.Everything comes with a lot of fresh and nice cooked rice. Chicken so soft and juicy. Really skeptic about food trucks - butthis place deserves your order! Read more
