The simple HoLo breakfast was soooo good. They?ve got perfectly cooked potatoes, buttery scrambled eggs, and the sausage is... homemade and very unique. Great service and a low-key environment. Read more

Lovely and delicious. Comfortable bar and restaurant, classy without being pretentious. I recommend Tommy's old fashioned, it's... perfect. The fish and chips- Pacific rockfish= so very tasty. Best ever. Love the thin sweet potato fries and I ate all of them!Excellent feedback on the chicken sandwich as well. Generous portions. Clean. Will definitely return. Read more

I had an early breakfast, first time dining at this place. The customer service was okay. The food was not that good, I had... smoked salmon with bagel and no cream cheese and it was literally the bagel and salmon it had too much onion which I reallyhate, no seasoning, no flavor. My friend had the same thing but with cream cheese and they put a lot of cream cheese. The orangejuice isn?t freshly squeezed. Overall the food was 4/10 for me. The only thing I liked was the interior and the fact that theywere open that early that?s all. Read more

Not a ton of places open in this area of Portland on Sunday morning, but luckily CraftPDX was open. The service was great, our... server Clark, was fantastic and the food did not disappoint. Great serving sizes to start the day. Read more

Cute and chic hotel bar. It was half full and pretty noisy, not recommended for intimate dining but a group or happy hour would... be fun. At 6pm they were sadly out of red sangria so get there early! The brisket street taco was absolutely delicious and Iwould come back for happy hour to have it. The ceviche was small and just ok, wouldn't order it again. The cochinita pibil porkplate was massive, plenty for two, just ask for more tortillas. This place was cute, bright and fun. I would come back for happyhour if I'm close by. I couldn't see the menu on their mobile website ? I've attached photos. Read more

Instead of going to Mother's for the same old brunch fare you've had countless times, walk 1/2 a block up past all the tourists... waiting at Mother's because Trip Advisor told them it was the place to be, and go to Alto-Bajo. Your taste buds will thankyou. The Chilaquiles Verde which is basically tortilla chips, your choice of protein (i had the smoked brisket, wife had theshrimp which was an extra $4 FYI), 2 eggs any style of preparation, guacamole, salsa, and cheese. Try their hot sauce, it has aBBQ sauce like texture, spicy with a delayed onset (so apply carefully), and I like that its not vinegary at all. The smokedold fashioned (not on their current online drink menu) was easy to drink. I am no Mezcal expert so I'll leave it at that. I am astickler on the proper ice cubes; which were not present here. The small cubes melt too fast and water down the drink. Give me abig clear cube. Raspberry churro to finish off brunch. Its a churro with raspberry filling, raspberry dipping sauce, and somefresh berries (guess what kind) to top it off. One order comes with two 4" churro sticks. Read more
