We recently celebrated our wedding at Coopers Hall, and the day was nothing short of amazing. From the planning and the... attention to detail, to the level of customization and care; this was truly an amazing experience. We felt thoroughly taken careof during the months leading up to our wedding, both comfortable and stress-free the entire time. This is all thanks to theevent team and entire staff at Coopers Hall — absolutely top notch from start to finish. The aesthetic at Coopers Hall isboth unique and inviting; perfect for chill evenings or events, and especially for gorgeous photos during your visit. Theinterior space feels like a sassy interior designer and worldly sommelier collaborated to create the ideal PNW experience...with a dash of warm light and cozy vibes. Their entire menu will force you to rethink why you would ever cook at home, andyou'll spend very little time talking amongst friends until the food is gone. More than just an honorable mention, Coopers Hallsignature wines are worthy of a flight across the country (or further), and will convert non-believers into full wineconnoisseurs. I am a wedding planner and coordinator - I had the privilege of working with Coopers Hall on September 18, 2022. As an... independent vendor, I work at many different venues. Cooper Hall, without a doubt, is one of my favorite venues to work at. Theyover-communicated with not only the clients but the vendors. They were prepared for our meeting so their team was on the samepage regarding day-of details. This really made me as an outside vendor coming in and my client feel prepared and assured thatwe can truly rely on them. They were always on time and/or ahead of the schedule. Their team made sure the bride and groom werewell fed and taken care of. They also prepared a table for the vendors - taking care of us as well. At the end of the night,with guests still lingering, the hospitality team was very patient as guests found their rides home. Coopers Hall is sothoughtful, hospitable, accommodating, intentional and definitely a well oiled machine. Oh, and their food is so good! I am a Sept. 2022 bride coming off of an amazing wedding at Coopers Hall. When I tell you that our friends and family will NOT... stop talking about the venue, food, and wine, I am not exaggerating. We are still getting notes from our guests. Specifically,people have noted that they have never had food at a wedding of this quality, that the space is big enough for a party yet feelsincredibly intimate, and that the Coopers Hall staff is lovely, professional, and knows exactly what they are doing. CoopersHall is like having the convenience of an old school banquet hall, but super chic. I also must shout out Jane. Jane was ourcoordinator and I feel as though I’ve made a lifelong friend with her. From the moment we first met with Jane, we were totallysold on Coopers. Coopers Hall is more than deserving of its title of one of the best wedding venues in Portland. The space is so well naturally... and artfully decorated, it hardly needs any additional furnishings amongst the wine barrels, string lights, and ample greenery.It has an effortless casual elegance without being pretentious. The sommelier is passionate about the quality and sustainabilityof the wine that is served, and the food. Good lord, the food!! Made with the freshest, seasonal, most local ingredients andwith such elevated preparations. The pride the chef and kitchen staff have in their craft and hospitality is indisputable. Theyeven went above and beyond to accommodate our guests with allergies or other food restrictions. I need to talk about JaneMorgan, our event coordinator. She is professional, patient, kind, and organized. We had our, twice postponed, wedding in July2022. Throughout the planning process, Jane was responsive, flexible, and steadfast in helping us keep on track. Everything Ithought could go wrong was taken care of on the event date. Where do all my decorations go? Jane’s on it. How will ourphotographer and DJ know what to do and when? Jane’s on it. How are we going to keep the guests informed about what’s goingon during the night? Jane’s on it. I had one of my decorations literally fall apart. Jane was on it with a hot glue gun! Whoknows how many things could have gone wrong if not for Jane’s intervention. Who knows how many things actually went wrong butwere swiftly addressed, leaving me none the wiser? Jane and the rest of the crew at Coopers Hall made us feel like stars, andour celebration was everything I hoped it would be. We chose Coopers Hall as our wedding venue for the 'easy button' aspect. We quickly realized we did not want to be coordinating... vendors for catering, the bar, rentals, along with flowers, DJ, etc etc. Coopers Hall really had the full package in our bookand in a truly beautiful setting. The food was phenomenal, we're still receiving compliments from guests that it was the bestwedding food they've had. We had fun selecting the menu and they went above and beyond to accommodate allergies andrestrictions. The wine selection was fantastic and we loved the flexibility of the bar. Our day of coordinator with the venue,Jane, was a true angel and could not have been a bigger help with everything on the day of and leading up to the day. My husband and I had our wedding reception at Coopers Hall and we are incredibly happy with how everything turned out. All of... the staff is friendly and accommodating and goes above and beyond for you. Phenomenal customer support, truly a joy to workwith. Food is exceptional - our guests kept telling us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Amazingly goodrestaurant quality and delicious and innovative menu. The space itself is beautiful. We hosted our wedding here and had an incredible experience! The events team (Ruth!) stayedon top of all our details, and helped us bring our vision to life all while navigating changing circumstances and guidelinesduring COVID-19. And the food...wow! Look no further than Coopers Hall. The venue is stunning on it's own but can be customized to whatever vision you have for your... wedding day. The food is INCREDIBLE and there are so many options for any dietary restriction you can think of. It's cozy andwarm and centrally located to downtown which makes travel for both in town and out of town guests a breeze. But, moreimportantly than all of that is the Coopers Hall wedding team. You CANNOT find a more professional, accommodating, organized,and all around welcoming group of planners. We worked with Mae and Shannan for a majority of the planning but ANYTHING wethought of they had answers for. Our wedding was a rowdy Scottish-Italian affair and it went off without a hitch. They wereable to customized a traditional drink we used to make on camping trips with my family for cocktail hour, they didn't blink (andlater executed with PERFECTION) when we asked if we could "ice" an entire table of wedding guests, and they even made sure mymom had the meat for her plates cooked a bit longer then the rest. We made a lot of the decor around the venue ourselves andeven requested beer that was sold in Montana as another signature item and Mae worked with the distributor for us and organizedthe timeline for all the vendors to work with. We hosted both our ceremony and reception here and, although we were worriedabout 120 people being in the building during the "switch" you wouldn't have noticed. It went so smoothly! They have so manybrides and even non-wedding events come through their doors but you wouldn't know it. Every couple gets exactly what they areenvisioning for their big day and you feel like the attention is 100% on you. Even after the wedding was over and the billshave been paid, we still reach out to Mae because we absolutely loved working with her. Our wedding day was perfect and we'vealready decided to spend our anniversary in Portland every year from here on out so we can celebrate at Coopers Hall. Read more
