Asked for medium rare, but was not as I pictured it?Food comes out really quick and the service is amazing and friendly. The... fish and chips was decent, no sense of seasoning at all. Atmosphere is nice, but not worth the price. Read more

Great food! Very cool vibe and atmosphere. We got there early (430) to try and beat the crowd and it was booked so we sat in the... lounge. The staff was very nice as well. Can?t wait to go back. Read more

Great classic Prime Rib and steak restaurant ????. It has been a staple of Portland since the 1950's. The Prime Rib is very... good. We split the 16oz dinner and added a Clyde's Ceaser salad ???? and though quite full had to get the hot cherry ????tartlet ala mode. Very good ???? the pastery was nice and flaky and a good amount of tart cherry ???? filling. We enjoyed ourmeal and will be back again. They take reservations and have a lighted sign outside to let you know if they are full. If youlike Jazz check out the lounge. Read more

We ate dinner in the lounge area. It's very cozy and dark. If you prefer a more lighted experience the main dining room is for... you. Clyde's is known for their prime rib but I had the halibut and loved it. Plenty of vegetables to go with it too. Read more

To be honest I wasn't really sure about this place. It looks really old school. But everything was delicious. I especially... enjoyed the desserts. Our steak was ordered medium however it was more rare than anticipated. Lobster was slightly overcookedbut still delicious. It was very dark and quiet inside probably nice for date night. It seems they do offer days when they havelive music, may have to come on another day for that. Other reviews are pretty much on point. Read more

The prime rib and lobster were fantastic. Not sure if the credit goes to the cook or the cow, but it was definitely worth going... to Clyde's to celebrate a big event with my wife. (She liked it as well and recommends the Pot of Creme dessert option). Read more

I had fun, live music, good steak. Lobster Mac was the best. Service is slow, but bring good company and you won't notice.

Clyde's is that kind of place that looks like there should be a miniature golf course behind the entrance, but looks can be... deceiving. Clyde's is a treasure on Sandy Blvd. The place has an old school vibe like the Rat Pack is going to enter at anymoment. The place is split into a lounge (sometimes with live entertainment) and an expansive dining room with leatherbanquettes and sconces on the walls. The menu is simple but offers plenty of great choices. The Prime Rib is premier, butdon't overlook the sides like the baked potato and the flash fried broccoli. Our house salad and French Onion soup wereexcellent and the side of cauliflower in garlic and Gruyere sauce was really wonderful. Everything was well prepared and theservice was outstanding. Our beverages were frequently keep filled and our server was engaging and attentive. If you want somegood prime rib in Portland, this place has the bona fides. Read more
