We LOVED the bright and mysterious Not Harvey Wallbanger cocktail and the pepperoni pizza was SO good. After sampling lots from... the menu, I would return over and over for these. The crust here is divine - the perfect amount of chew and crisp - so youwon’t be disappointed if you branch out. Our waitress was patient with our group and she had an overall kind vibe. Theservice definitely lived up to the 20% tip that was included. The owner/executive chef, Joshua McFadden, has written someamazing cookbooks that are worth a read and I love the concept of Ava Gene’s and Cicoria. Cheers! Read more

Ordered delivery from here a few times. This is the only passable Chicago thin crust style pizza I’ve had in Portland. Good... quality ingredients, the sauce is flavorful, and the crust has the right amount of crisp. I don’t get the comments about itbeing expensive— this is pizza made with very high quality ingredients. Absolutely worth it. Read more

We have become big fans! Especially of their seasonal pizzas. The Purple Broccoli was amazing, some of the best pizza we've had.... Plus the staff is genuinely very nice and accomodating. The vibe inside is great too. Not sure why, but makes me think of the80s (in a good way!). Likely our go to spot for pizza. Great for families too. Read more

We were sat while it was fairly empty only one or two existing tables, around 4:20, we we’re promptly greeted by Dante and... order was taken around 4:30. The happy hour spritz was a decent price, however after 30 minutes having watched at least 15takeout orders get passed out to grub hub we grew a little inpatient that we still had not delivered our single pepperonipizza. There was a meek apology that the kitchen was backed up. We also had to ask for drink refills, the service was fairlyinattentive, the reason this time was under staffing despite there being a fair amount of servers. The food finally arrivedafter 40 minutes. The pizza was great, good biscuity base and tasty sauce, salty pepperoni. Given that they prescribe a 20%obligatory gratuity it made us pretty critical of the service quality and time taken to receive the food. I understand themission behind it, but feel it unnecessary and preconceived our expectations of service which it most definitely did not live upto. Great vibe, location and decor but poor service experience overall. Bill was $38 for 3 happy hour spritz and a pepperonipizza. Given our experience I would be unlikely to revisit Read more

So delicious. This pizza has the look and taste of what I experienced in Italy. We ate at the bar and had a few drinks. Their... speciality drinks are actually quite different and very tasty than what I have experienced so far. Bartender and staff werefriendly Read more

The best happy hour deal! Full sized cheese pizza for $8! It was one of the best pizzas I have had in Portland. I’m from the... Northeast, so I’m picky! Service was great, and I LOVED that they required vaccinations. Thank you! Read more

Awesome happy hour - the pizzas are delicious and full-sized, and the calamari was fantastic. The service was great, and I love... that they're requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to sit inside. Can't wait to go back - for happy hour ornot. Read more

Tasty, yet a little pricey. We ordered two cocktails, an app, and a pizza and spent nearly $80! Yeesh. Where I come from, party... pizzas are cheap. But, I guess eating here is less expensive than airfare? Not a fan of the mandatory gratuity. Cute spacethough. Read more
