One of my favorite Indian restaurants in town. High quality food with good service
Service and food were excellent! The spice level was just what we had hoped for. The dining room was quiet and a bit cold. We... would have liked some kind of music so we didn’t feel the need to whisper. Iced water would have been nice too! Overall wewere pleased! Read more
The best Indian restaurant in downtown Portland. Have enough vegetarian options with authentic Indian taste. Very welcoming... staff. Food prepared to order, not the same curry for every dish (like many places). We also ordered masala tea and theyspecially prepared that only for our order. All and all a best place to have authentic Indian food. Read more
It was GOOD. It is not cheap but it is shareable since portions are big enough. Ordered a small side of curry sauce and it was... $9. We got it take out and walked back to hotel, food was still hot and good. We enjoyed it, i ordered medium spicy and it was. Will try another menu before we leave Oregon. Read more
Great great customer service even though the dine-in inside isn’t quiet open yet the guy was nice enough to bring us all... utensils outside with jugs of water and cups. We got to have a great dinner under the string lights hassle free. The food wasalso very yummy. Especially liked the chicken biryani, Butter chicken and chicken jalfrezi. Ate most of it before taking apicture. A must place to try if around the area. Read more
Had dinner here today. The place is open for dine-in, following safety measures and was true value for money. The staff was very... welcoming and super friendly. Loved their appetizers, we tried Samosa and Papdi Chat. Their sham savera kofta and onion kulchawas too delicious. The only dish I was bit disappointed with was Chef special Chicken although it tasted good, I was expecting acurry but it was more like tandoori chicken. Read more
Hit and miss here. I had Chicken Tikka Masala, you cannot mess that up right? and my partner had Tandoori Chicken. The Tandoori... was very good, on the bone, flavorful, good size, great dish. The Chicken Masala to my disappointment was not that great, flavors too much tomato, too little actual chicken, not creamy on the sauce . Not impressed. At points I almost wanted a grilledcheese with it! that’s how soupy it was. The nann was good, you have to pay a few dollars extra (other places you don’t asit’s included) I have been here twice now. For certain it’s leagues above OpenTandoor restaurants but still misses theSwagart NW benchmarks on Chick Tikka - ya Gotta improve British national dish if you want to survive. Read more
