Reviews for Chart House in Portland, OR
I have celiac, and while they are super careful about contamination which I appreciate extremely, the gluten free options are... very limited and end up being less than stellar. I was able to dine on king crab, which was delicious but slightly overcooked, and the accompanying option was grilled vegetables. Most of these were placed on too hot of a grill for far too little time, meaning there was a lot of char and they were extremely firm. Some, inedible. Not very good. Vegetables can be amazing and Iwish they'd been given more thought. (Don't go here, vegetarians) I would have liked melted butter with the crab. Their oysterappetizer was fresh and PHENOMENAL. Wine selection is okay, non alcoholic beverage selection was AMAZING. I didn't try to mixeddrinks but they looked great! Overall, I would recommend a visit. The ambiance and view, and service, is exceptional. Read more
I am delighted with this restaurant. very beautiful place. beautiful scenery, even I think ecologically clean place. ... everything inside is very good. the window offers a great view, you can see the city, the river, the mountains. there is ahall upstairs and downstairs. There is a separate place for different events. the interior is interesting. the table is setand decorated very well, like for a wedding. I would say a great place for all meetings and even for romantic ones, for lovers. the girl met us perfectly, despite the fact that there were very few people and they immediately put us down anyway, she movedso quickly and did everything as if there was a queue. She was very friendly, like a friend. What we ordered was very tasty. felt like good products. We really enjoyed. the only thing it seemed to me was a lot of cheese in the salad and that it wassalty, but that's nothing. Yes, and one funny thing happened. ordered squid and thought, as everywhere and always, they wouldbring a normal portion, but it was very large ???? unexpectedly. so be aware of this, but it's very tasty ???? I'm verysatisfied and I'll come back more than once, I think despite the fact that they are a little far from Vancouver. Many thanksfor everything to everyone who worked today and I wish you success. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Read more
Food was fantastic. View was amazing. Staff was friendly. Everyone in our party of 4 got something different and was very happy... with our meals, as well as the calamari appetizer. Pricey place, but well worth it! Read more
Food portion was great????. The clam chowder is so good, and the oysters was so fresh. The prime ribs medium rare was tender and... juicy, but the lava cake was too sweet for me. Everything else was good. Read more

My dad and I stopped here on a whim. We had always assumed that Chart House would charge extra for the view, but the prices were... pretty reasonable! And the lava cake and ginger drinks were delectable. And since we stopped in about 3pm on a Sunday wepractically had the place to ourselves. Read more
Came here to celebrate a birthday and it was a great experience. The views out into the city are lovely at night, and the... service here is top notch. The chart your course menu seemed to be the best value, and it didn't disappoint. My lobster bisque, prime rib, and mini lava cake were all quite good, though the side potatoes that came with the prime rib could have been moreflavorful. Overall, a great spot to celebrate an occasion or have a date night. Read more
