Sandwiches could use a little more sauce (dry) & the meat could use a little more seasoning but overall the food is good. I give... a 2 because I asked where do I get my strawberry lemonade.... The black employee said that she would grab it for me, but as shewent to get it, the Asian employee proceeded to check my order on the menu to ensure that I wasn't getting a free drink. I hadliterally just paid for my food. So that was insulting. I am African American.... Seems like she thought that her blackco-worker was trying to give a free drink to a black customer, but that was not the case at all. Turns out the head guy therehad already made the drink but he just forgot to give it to me. Without this experience I would rate it a 4 because the food isokay. Great sandwiches!! My only complaint is how overpriced the sandwiches are. It definitely left me hungry for more.

I am disappointed in this place because I loved eating here and now I will never go back. The chinese looking guy tried to trick... me into thinking he had cut up some fresh lettuce, I had requested fresh lettuce because the lettuce they had out was old andbrown. The Hispanic lady told me the lettuce didnt arrive that day so they only had that one. I said I didnt want any then. Shesaid she would talk to the chinese guy (I think he is the manager or the one in charge at that time) he went to the back andcame back with a hand full of lettuce! He was covering it with both hands so I wouldn't see (It wasn't fresh, it was the sameold soggy lettuce) I asked him "Its fresh lettuce?" He said "yes" and dumped it in my sandwich.. I was confused on how he wouldhave fresh lettuce if the other lady just told me there was none in the back.. I took it to my table and surprise! It's notfresh lettuce, I was mad because it even smelled old. I was upset and couldn't believe how they dont care about customers andtheir health! All they care about is money. Charleys Philly Steaks is located on level 2 in the food court at Washington Square Mall. Great service - fast, friendly and... the food is tasty. If you sign up online you can get points for each purchase and eventually get a free drink. It is ADAaccessible and kept clean. Read more

I was visiting from Canada BC, never heard or ate at this place before. The menu looked really good so decided to try the... phillysteak. It was delicious, and their strawberry lemonade is really really good! I'd come back again next time i visitPortland. Read more

Long wait because everything is made to order. Which is OK, but you do need some patience here. The portions are not... consistent. The meat in my son's sandwich was about right, but mine was about half of what their marketing picturesportray. The lemonade was very good. Keep in mind its mall food. Read more

I go Here pretty often. When I m in the food court its usually sarku Japan or Charleys. For the most part the food is normally... good and its like a fast food cheese steak. Thats why there are three stars. Its just this one time I came Monday Aug 15th ataround 12:30 pm and got a bacon 3 cheese sandwich. It was not super good and the sandwich did not close so I could get a gripbut mainly I didnt like it cause I had to spit out these bone fragments or somethin. Very good food here! The only issue with it is pricing can be pretty high though but a large is great for a meal for the day or... for 2 and love the free refills! The employees are friendly and fast at what they do would come here again next visit at themall. Read more
