Caiman Cafe is a wonderful spot to find downtown when you want something cozy, locally owned, and delicious.\n\nYou need to try... the Cuban Sandwich here. It\'s some of the best slow cooked pork I\'ve had, a beautiful and juicy delight next to quality thickslices of ham, provolone, pickles, and classic yellow mustard. The whole thing is press fried and they must squeeze a little oilfor each side of the process because the bread is more than toasted where it\'s been pressed flat, it\'s got just a hint of thatoily light fry crisp. Match that with the few strands of melted cheese that run down the side and also crisps on the griddle topand I honestly can\'t stop thinking about it.\n\nThis is a great breakfast or lunch stop, ESPECIALLY if you happen to land juryduty as it\'s right next to the new Multnomah county courthouse.
