Reviews for Bunk Beer Hall at Bridgeport Village in Portland, OR
Been wanting to check this place out for awhile now and I wasn?t disappointed one bit. I ordered a Bunk Smash Burger, Waffle... Fries and 2 Rainer beers. The food was amazing. I would definitely come back here and the best part it?s near my house. Read more
I have had half of the sandwiches on the menu and they are all fantastic. Chicken strips are the best my wife has ever had, her... words. Order an iceberg drink from the bar with a cider fantastic. Hard Apple cider with POG Rum slushi, YUMMMMM. Request, ifyou can make the chicken strips that good, lets have fish and chips? Read more
What a treasure we found today! We dined outside, under their umbrellas in the beautiful July weather. Logan took our order;... what a great guy; was very patient and kind with all our questions. Everyone was super friendly and Logan helped us arrive attwo amazing salads! Both were Large Ranch Salads: one with Grilled Chicken, the other with Marinated Pork Belly. (See Pics) Bothwere excellent, but the Pork Belly won! Hammer & Stitch's "Choice" was our beer of choice, and it sure "wowed" us...a Hazy IPAwith Blackberries!...We will definitely be back!!! Great service, bartender was top notch. Would have enjoyed trying more but enjoyed a beer and a few cocktails: little prince and... Bunk Iceberg. Really liked the banh mi and the house made sauces are amazing though the fry sauce was our favorite of the three, just right on the horseradish spice. Great arcade and fast service, checkout was smooth. Will definitely go again. Read more
The person who took my order was very pleasant and knowledgable about their menu. I ended up getting the Hero Meatball sandwich... and it was just incredible. Probably one of the best meatball sandwiches I've had in my life. Beer selection is pretty solid aswell. I'll definitely be in again soon Read more
Sandwich, beer, and game hall. Family friendly as were several families there and they have pinball and a few classic Pacman... type games for quarters. Nice atmosphere. It is not listed on the menu, but they do have GF bread and buns for theirsandwiches. They also have salads. They have a rotating list of beers on tap, but we did notdrinks, if any were gf. Weprefer mixed drinks, and they have a bar with good selection. Overall, a fun experience and atmosphere, with tasty sandwiches. We had the Cubano with Paloma (their special mixed drinkbof the day, and Margarita. They were prepping for a big Cinco de Mayocoming up. Read more
Good sandwich and decent beer selection. However a sandwich, side of tots and two beers set me back $40 with tip. Most draft... beers are $8 a shaker pint. Read more
Not worth the price for what I paid but can see how this setup might be appealing to someone out there. The service was okay -... as a first time in there it didn?t really help those of us not familiar with the setup or the eatery. There are no wait stafffor the tables. You order your own food and someone will bring it to you with your number. Drinks you have to order at one ofthe two registers and pick up at the bar. Everything is a la carte. You ordered a sandwich? That?s all you get for 15 bucks(and the sandwich was alright but I?ve had better for that price elsewhere). Not to mention as you can see, my sandwich wasburnt (the other side was worse). The martini was 11 bucks and the alcohol used in it was sub par/bad quality. The bar area wastouted as ?a full bar? but it was missing a few things when I asked for specific items to test just how full bar they reallywere. It?s more like a half bar with medium to lower grade alcohol. So while this place is charging a premium price, there areplaces with better food and drinks nearby that you?ll not only get table service for but will be a bit more relaxed. Theatmosphere was a bit loud and honestly not really relaxing. I think for a family group (meaning you?ve got kids), it might be abit better for with an arcade in restaurant but otherwise that was about it. Would I return? No. Between the headache that cameon from the bad alcohol and having to run to the bathroom later due to the sandwich, it was not worth the 30 bucks I spent for 1sandwich, waffle fries, and 1 drink. The food was also slow (took close to 20-25 minutes just to get this small order out tome). If you?re looking for a quick bite your also better off going to somewhere else nearby in Bridgeport or visitingJoe?s. The good things I will say about this place are: It was clean ???? The waffle fries were surprisingly good ???? Read more
